Francis began his martial arts training in 1975 under Sensei Ong Beng San, Karate Shotokan, then later moved to learn Shunlin Wushu Kwan in Singapore in the year 1979. After years of trying out various martial arts from various styles during the last decade, he has grown to appreciate the techniques and principles that make studying so rewarding. Through keeping an open mind and respecting others, he found his passion was learning the art of Jujitsu.
In 1991, Craig Woods came to Malaysia. That was the year Jujitsu was introduced and taught only to a handful of students; one of them was Sensei Francis, who received his Black Belt in 1994. After years of research and study, Sensei Francis is the head principle and Chief Instructor Black Belt 5th Dan in Jujitsu.
