The financial institution told me that I have a bad record in my credit report. Where can I find out the details of the record? (1) If you are from the Klang Valley, you may obtain the credit report from the Customer Service Centre, Laman Informasi Nasihat dan Khidmat (BNMLINK) of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Head Office at the following address:

BNMLINK operates daily from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (including lunch time) except for public holidays.
Please bring along your MyKad or passport (for foreigner) and any other supporting documents that can verify your identity such as your driving licence, etc. The credit report will be given to you during the visit.
(2) If you are from Johor Bahru, Pulau Pinang, Kuala Terengganu, Kuching or Kota Kinabalu, you may also walk in to our Customer Service Centre at the respective branches for the report. Follows are the address of the Bank Negara Malaysia branches:

(3) If you are from outside of the above locations mentioned, you may request your credit report via mail. Please complete and send us the following:
- Credit Report Request Form (CRR);
- Loan Declaration Form; (please download the above forms from website creditbureau.bnm.gov.my)
- A clear photocopy of your MyKad (both sides) / passport (for foreigners); and
- Any combination of two other documents (with your name and address stated clearly
on each copy) from the following:
- Driving licence;
- Utility bills such as water bill, electricity bill, telephone bill, ASTRO bill, etc
- Bank account statement;
- Credit card statement; or
- EPF statement.
You can either post or fax the completed application form and the supporting documents to:

Please note that if you come personally to our LINK and branches to obtain the credit report, you will get the report instantly. However, it may take between 2 to 4 weeks to process your request for credit report via mail/fax as the report will be sent to the nearest financial institutions to your home address for your collection.
