Reference is made to the announcement dated 2 November 2017 in relation to the MOU. In accordance with the MOU, the MOU will be valid for a period of three (3) months from the date of signing unless terminated or a formal agreement is entered into.
The Board of Directors of NI HSIN wishes to announce that NI HSIN and PRA were unable to reach an agreement on the major terms and conditions of the formal agreement within the stipulated three (3) month period and had vide a letter dated 6 February 2018 mutually confirmed that the MOU has since lapsed and ceased to have force and effect.

（吉隆坡6日讯）日新工业（Ni Hsin Resources Bhd）在过去12个月以462万令吉，收购了可人儿控股（Caely Holdings Bhd）的581万股或7.26%股权，崛起为后者的大股东。
日新工业指出，双方可产生协同作用，可在海外市场利用双方的客户群。
根据文告：“日新工业也可以从可人儿控股的直销执照中受惠，销售我们的PENTOLI产品。日新工业有意加入可人儿控股的董事部。”
日新工业续称，可人儿控股拥有健康的业务，是国内女士内衣行业的领导者。
“它已成为美国、欧洲和东亚地区等海外市场的领先代工生产制造商。可人儿控股创办人纵横这个行业逾30年。可人儿控股的财务状况非常健康，在这个行业有很大的增长潜能。”

（吉隆坡5日讯）日新工业（Ni Hsin Resources Bhd）与日本厨房炊具制造商Wonder chef Co Ltd签署独家经销协议，以在东盟市场销售后者的产品。
日新工业今日发布文告表示，其子公司Ni Hsin Corp私人有限公司（NHC）已签署独家经销协议，尤其是销售炒锅和压力锅。
日新工业指出，Wonder Chef的产品在众多日本百货商店和一般商品店销售，并通过电视购物销售给更广泛的消费者群体。
该集团表示，主要产品是压力锅。
日新工业董事经理邱基强表示，这是集团企业史上的重要里程碑。
“我们将使马来西亚成为第一个成功分销Wonder chef产品，并最终进入东盟其他国家的国家。”
他说：“下一个拓展的市场将是新加坡、泰国和印尼。”
邱基强指出，在生活水平提高和富裕群体不断增长的推动下，东盟地区对优质炊具的需求不断增长，而拥有6.6亿人口的东盟地区无疑将成为中国和印度以外的重要市场。
他表示，独家经销协议为期5年，可在双方达成共识下续约。
他估计，是次合作将为其截至今年与明年12月杪财年的收益作出积极贡献。
