Working experience and occupation

Tan Sri Fuzi is a retired Inspector-General (IGP) of the Royal Malaysia Police Force (PDRM) where he served for 35 years in various capacities.He joined the Royal Malaysia Police in 1984 as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police. After completing basic police training, he was attached to the Special Branch Department of the PDRM from 1986 to 2009 where he served in various capacities, including Deputy Director of the Special Branch in 2007 where he was responsible for overseeing the management, financial human resource and training functions of the PDRM. In 2009, he was promoted as the Director of Special Task Force on Operation and Counter-Terrorism where he was responsible for overseeing all matters related to anti-terrorism, terrorist financing and money laundering in the country. In 2014, he served as the Director of the Management Department in Bukit Aman and was subsequently promoted as the Director of Special Branch in 2015 where he oversees overall functions of the Special Branch, including recruitment and training.In September 2017, he was further promoted as the IGP, the highest-ranking position in the PDRM, until his retirement in May 2019.Currently, Tan Sri Fuzi is the Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Jaya Tiasa Holdings Berhad, Tropicana Corporation Berhad and SIAB Holdings Berhad

Description	ACQUISITION OF SHARES IN ANCOM-CHEMQUEST TERMINALS SDN. BHD.
Ancom Nylex Berhad ("Company" or "ANB") is pleased to announce that Synergy Tanker Sdn. Bhd. (“STSB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of ANB, had on 5 October 2022, completed the acquisition from Chemquest Sdn. Bhd. of 3,000,000 shares, representing 25% equity interest in Ancom-Chemquest Terminals Sdn. Bhd. (“ACT”), a 51% owned subsidiary of Synergy Trans-Link Sdn. Bhd., which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ancom Logistics Berhad, and is in the process of finalising the proposed acquisition of 2,880,000 shares representing 24% in ACT held by a Thai national, Mr Surasak Suwanapasri. The above acquisition of shares in ACT would strengthen ANB as one of the major integrated chemical groups in the region.   Please refer to the attachment below for further details on the announcement.
