盒子可有可无，只不过是用来保护Raspberry Pi吧了。盒子还没有出现时，所有人买的Raspberry Pi都是没有盒子的。

如果存货是从新加坡寄出，Element14收到款项后，大约一两天就收到了。
你去Element14的网站，选择想要买的产品，然后看Availability，就知道从那里寄出了。

是啦，那天我来询问你时才rm160的说。
element 14有盒子的rm150,不过我买没盒子的。
看到有货就快快buy了，我怕它起价
不过element 14的人有打电话来，说不能以个人身份买，最后我提供他公司的名字（虽然是personal use)然后才通过的。
不然的话我必须去thunder match买啊！

我喜欢去Element14订购，使用maybak2u过帐，偶而使用cheque。
如果完成了网上订购（还没岀货/单），之後如果有discount或promotion，Element14会打电话给你，并且直在订购扣单上给于回扣。

Element14网购超过RM150.00是不用付快递服务费。

我浏览了你的网站，好像跟Raspberry PI没有关联。你买了Raspberry PI要来干吗？

我没看到这选项，最后跟妈妈借了visa来付款。
不过我不清楚我的帐到底多少钱。
因为我付款是那里有写邮费rm20，但是我收到的订单却没出现此邮费。

你必须登录maybank2u的网站，在Bill Payment里选择Element14。

Not having two ports on the Black is a little rough. It makes using a keyboard and a mouse pretty difficult. But then again, most PI setups are using a USB hub anyway. Still, the Pi wins this one.

The Black use let power at idle, however this is completely dependent on your setup. For robotic development the lower power consumption is very handy in battery powered applications. The DC jack also allows connection of a battery without an external regulator.

总的来说，Beaglebone Black拥有比较快的处理器，更多的I / O，内建flash memory，同时支持Android和Linux，包括Ubuntu。视频解码能力就不如Raspberry Pi，且没有composite输出（RCA TV输出）。

如果需要一个高清摄像头，高清视频播放，最好选择Raspberry Pi。对于其他用途，Beaglebone Black应该是比较好的解决方案。

PiFace Digital I/O Expansion Board

Raspberry Pi有8个Digital I/O引脚，毎个都可以设成输出或输入。此外，还有一个两线I2C接口和一个4线SPI接口（再加一个select line，共5个引脚）以及一个两线串行UART。

I2C和SPI接口也可设成Digital I/O，然後再禁用串行UART，总共可得8+2+5+2=17个/O引脚。如果需要更多的 I/O就必须添加I/O扩展板。
