NHF to invest in 3D laser machines

New Hoong Fatt (NHF) Holdings Bhd plans to invest in 3D laser-cutting machines as part of its investment in plants and machinery to cater to the growing market demand.
This proposed capital expenditure includes the purchase of the Trumpf Group's world renowned laser-cutting machine, namely Trumpf TruLaser Cell 7040.
"Being the only manufacturer in Malaysia to employ the use of Trumpf Group's advanced 3D laser-cutting technology, the company aims to increase the capacity of its laser-cutting production line by an additional 35 per cent.
"NHF is the first and only company in Asean to have four solid state Trumpf 3D laser-cutting machines at this moment," the company said in a statement.

The use of this machine will result in higher productivity and lower costs.
The NHF will utilise this machine for the production of its metal automotive replacement parts such as hoods, fenders, doors and trunk lids.
"NHF started using Trumpf equipment since 1998 and has invested more than RM10 million on its laser technology since then, including this latest purchase.
"As NHF's business strategy includes growing our business locally and internationally, we are experiencing increasing demand for our products," the company said, adding that over the past five years, the company has invested about RM100 million in total capital expenditure.
"This includes purchase of machinery and tools and dies, and we expect to continue investing in our business in Malaysia in the years to come.

（巴生7日讯）新鸿发（NHFatt，7060，主板消费产品股）赞叹教育部计划推行的技职教育转型计划（VET），目的是进一步发展制造领域内的技术人才。

新鸿发董事经理陈日新说：“制造领域不只局限在乏味的生产线。比如说，我们的生产厂房内有着使用3D激光切割技术的机械，以及使用电脑辅助设计/电脑辅助制造（CAD/CAM）编程的高度自动化电脑数值控制（CNC）机床。”

“我们所需要的，是受培训和有技术的人才，以安全和有效的方式来操作这类型的机械。”

他表示，政府已推行相关措施，让离校生有机会和有能力取得职业证书，而本地目前已设有多家职业培训机构。

“持有这些证书的学生将有更多的职业机会选择。我们希望这能改变大众对职业培训的看法。”

同时，陈日新也希望政府会继续活跃地与制造公司接洽，了解它们对推行职业计划的看法。

“这领域正面对技术与人才短缺失配的问题，我们能够提供一些有宝贵的意见，以提高离校生的受雇能力。”

他补充，该公司也鼓励政府继续专注提升教育机构的素质，确保课程是最新且符合现有科技，讲师也具备相关领域的技术和经验。[NanYang]

Remarks :

The Board of Directors is pleased to declare an interim single tier dividend of 3 sen per ordinary share of RM1.00 each in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2011. The dividend will be paid on 20 December 2011 to all shareholders registered in the Record of Depositors on 30 November 2011.

Review of performance
For the third quarter of 2011, the Group recorded total revenue of RM50.8 million which was 10.6% lower as compared to RM56.8 million in the corresponding quarter of last year. Total revenue for the nine months was RM163.8 million which was 2.0% lower as compared to
RM167.2 million in the corresponding period of last year. The decrease in revenue was mainly due to the reduction in the contribution of revenue from the disposed subsidiary, New Kean Tat Auto Parts Sdn. Bhd., the disposal of which was completed during the quarter under
review.
The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax of RM8.1 million in the current quarter under review as compared to RM7.4 million in the corresponding quarter of last year, representing an increase of 9.5%. Total Profit Before Tax for the cumulative nine months was RM24.1 million as compared to RM23.4 million in the corresponding period last year, an increase of 3.0%.
The increase was mainly due to higher income from the sale of steel scrap.

新鸿发第3季净利增16%

（吉隆坡10日讯）由于脱售一家子公司，新鸿发（NHFatt，7060，主板消费产品股）截至2011年9月30日现财年第三季营业额减少10.6%；不过，净利却因为售卖废钢的收入提高，而按年增长了16.4%。

新鸿发也宣布派发每股3仙的中期单层股息。

新鸿发向马交所报备，现财年第三季营业额为5075万5000令吉，比上财年同期的5677万1000令吉减少10.6%。主要是因为脱售子公司New Kean Tat汽车零件私人有限公司后，营业额贡献减少。

新鸿发第三季净利录得710万2000令吉，比上财年同期的608万9000令吉增长了16.4%。文告指出，较高净利主要来自废钢销售的贡献。

新鸿发第三季每股盈利从上财年同期的8.1仙，提高至9.45仙。

新鸿发表示，现财年首9个月盈利达2140万令吉，董事局宣布派发每股3仙的单层股息。

这次的股息将在12月20日付给11月30日或之前登记的股东。[NanYang]

New Hoong Fatt looks to China

AUTOMOTIVE replacement parts maker and distributor New Hoong Fatt Holdings Bhd (NHF) is confident that China will be a major market for its products despite challenges facing the global economy.

The company will leverage on intra-Asean trade and the trade facilitation process within Afta to expand its export markets.

NHF managing director Chin Jit Sin said the group had set up its overseas subsidiaries in Shanghai and Jakarta this year.

"NHF will continue to aggressively seek new markets. China's automotive market is growing and we plan to capitalise on this. We will also continue to develop the Asean market," he said in a statement.



Chin said NHF is developing its export market, recording a continuous growth in export sales compared with previously.

The company's recent participation in Automechanika Shanghai via NJ Manufacturing Industries Sdn Bhd has helped raise its brand awareness.

"We have better response this year with more potential customers visiting the booth.

"With China as the world's largest automobile market, we see strong market growth for the industry coming from China," Chin said.

He said Automechanika Shanghai, one of the world's largest automotive trade fairs, has provided the company with a great platform to showcase its products and boost relationships with potential customers from all over the world.

"We are positive that 2012 will be a growth year for NHF as we continue to manufacture automotive replacement parts for existing motor vehicles on the road," Chin said.

NJ Manufacturing had joined over 3,600 exhibitors at the international expo for automotive parts and accessories in Shanghai. NJ Manufacturing had exhibited both its metal and plastic automotive parts such as hoods, fenders, bumpers and grilles, among the group's 2,600 manufactured products.

该公司执行董事陈日新表示，公司今年已在上海和雅加达设立海外子公司。

“公司将继续积极寻求新市场，而中国的汽车零配件市场正在增长，因此希望借此可以取得好处。我们也继续发展东协市场。”

他也透露该公司正扩展出口市场，因此，在出口销售方面比起之前取得了持续性的增长。

另外，该公司近期通过NJ制造业有限公司参与上海汽配展（Shanghai Mechanika），也协助公司提升品牌知名度。

“我们今年取得了更好的反应，因为有更多的潜在客户参观我们的摊位。”

（吉隆坡5日讯）汽车替代零部件制造商兼分销商——新鸿发（NHFatt，7060，主板消费产品股）打算利用东协增长机会带动业务增长。

新鸿发董事经理陈日新表示，要持续增长不能只依赖本地业务。

陈日新告诉《星报》：“我们的业务是路上的所有车辆，很明显，与大马市场相比，东协是一个逐渐壮大的市场，可提供更好的机会。

“我们想要成为区域业者，让东协成为我们的主要市场。”

根据调查，截至去年11月，东协汽车总销量增长5%至239万辆，前年同期为227万辆。

截至去年11月，大马的汽车总销量则为55万2561辆。

陈日新说：“我们希望从东协人口增长中受惠。”

他还披露，贵为汽车市场巨擘的泰国与印尼，也会继续增长。

冀扎稳印尼根基
为了充份应用现有增长趋势，新鸿发去年在印尼成立了行销办事处以及仓库。

“去年，大马的汽车销售增长持平，但是印尼的表现优异。今年，我们希望能在印尼扎稳根基。”

截至去年11月，印尼的汽车总销量从前年同期的69万4649辆，上升17%至81万3856辆。[Nanyang]

（吉隆坡16日讯）汽车零件制造商及分销商---新鸿发控股有限公司（NHFATT，7060，消费产品组），有意利用东盟的增长机会，来提高其业务前景。
该公司董事经理陈日新表示，该公司不能只是依靠本地业务实现持续增长。
他对英文报商业周刊称：“我们有不少的汽车在该处行走。”
他续称，东盟明显是一个庞大的市场，与大马市场比较它拥有更好的机会。
“我们不希望只是一个马来西亚公司。我们需要的是一个区域市场，使东盟成为我们的主要市场。”
据统计数据显示，截至2011年11月杪止，东盟汽车销售量较前年同期挺涨了5%，由227万辆挺至239万辆。
在截至2011年11月份为止，大马汽车销售量达55万2561辆。
他说：“我们希望受惠于东盟地区的人口不断增加优势，泰国和印尼都是大汽车市场，它们会继续有所增长。”
为了充分利用区域增长，新鸿发控股于去年在印尼设立了一个销售办事处及仓库。
“去年，大马取得温和的汽车销售增长，但印尼有良好的增长势头。在2012年，我们真的希望在印尼建立业务。”
截至2011年11月为止，印尼汽车销售量较前年同期涨17%，由前期的69万4649辆增至81万3856辆。
他称，东盟自由贸易区有助于缓解成员国之间的交易过程，并有助于该公司在该地区快速迈向成功道路。
他称：“一些国家如泰国（区域汽车生产中心）不只是生产为了供应当地消费。其所生产的产品有许多是出口的，而我们所生产的零件可供应这些市场。”
该公司的零件目前出口到大约50个国家，其中包括那些在东盟、中东、中美洲、南美洲和欧洲、巴基斯坦、台湾、印度、俄罗斯和非洲。
该公司的出口额目前占了新鸿发控股总收入约30%。
它目前在巴生中路各自拥有一间金属和塑料制品厂，这两家工厂都在运行，每年生产能力介于70%-80%。

如无意外的话，该公司称，它有信心在本财政年度中，会继续取得积极的表现。

海外营运亏损增加 新鸿发去年盈利减17%

（吉隆坡29日讯）在截至2011年12月底为止的财年内，新鸿发集团（NHFatt，7060，消费品组）取得3千130万令吉的税前盈利，跟2010财年的2千590万令吉比较，下跌了17.3%。
新鸿发集团在文告中表示，这次较逊色的盈利表现，是受到较高减值拨备的影响。与此同时，印尼和中国的海外业务因刚投入运作，较高的营运亏损也是导致盈利下滑的原因之一。
此外，在2011财年内，新鸿发集团取得2亿1千560万令吉的营业额，较2010财年的2亿2千250万令吉，下跌3.1%。每股盈利则从36.3仙减至26.2仙。
该集团说：“营业额表现下跌，主要是因为在第三季度，脱售了旗下持股60%的子公司--New Kean Tat汽车配件私人有限公司，导致营业额贡献减少。”
“然而，出口营业额取得26.1%的较高增长，部分降低了脱售子公司后营业额贡献降低的冲击。”
与此同时，新鸿发集团的国内市场营业额则维持跟2010财年的同样水平。
另一方面，新鸿发集团表示，董事部建议派送每股8仙的终期单层股息，以及每股1仙的特别终期单层股息，总值676万4千零94令吉

放眼中国目标市场 新鸿发明年展望正面

（吉隆坡20日讯）新鸿发集团（NHFatt，7060，消费品组）预料明年展望将维持正面，且放眼中国为其产品的目标市场。
新鸿发集团是汽车替代零件生产商和分销商。
其董事经理陈日新今天文告表示，新鸿发集团有信心，在来年内中国将成为主要市场。
他说：“鉴于中国是全球最大的汽车市场，我们预见工业的强劲市场成长将来自中国。”
他透露，新鸿发集团今年在上海和雅加达设立了海外业务。
他表示：“集团将继续积极开拓新市场。中国的汽车市场正在成长，我们打算把握这个机会。”
与此同时，陈日新也指出，该集团将继续开发东协市场。
续开发东协市场
他说：“东协国家和业务持续在增长，公司预料东协自由贸易协议将提供帮助，简化成员国之间的贸易程序。”
他指出，目前，新鸿发集团继续在开发出口市场，跟前几年比较，出口销售录得持续性增长。
陈日新说：“全球在今年面临严峻挑战。不过，我们对2012年维持正面展望。随着集团继续为既有公路汽车生产汽车替代配件，新鸿发集团将在明年继续成长步伐。
此外，他也透露，新鸿发集团旗下的出口业务--NJ生产工业私人有限公司（NJ Manufacturing Industries Sdn Bhd）最近参加2011年法兰克福上海汽配展（Automechanika Shanghai），即一项汽车配件和零件博览会。
他表示：“上海汽配展是其中一项最大的全球汽车贸易展，它提供我们展示产品和促进与潜在全球客户关系的绝佳平台。”
在今年的博览会中，陈日新表示，新鸿发集团接到很好的回应。
