就是咯，相信很多人都没注意到savings是有s的。

这里是英文高手云集的地方，所以想请教大家以下句子有错误吗？

1.To  communicate effectively, the selection of words and the combination of phrases to form a meaningful sentence are vital.

2.This challenging task would be carried out by “word experts” like Eugene.

3.A word could be stand on its own or can be put together to make phrases, clauses and sentences, to create a communication message.

4. To transmit the planned message through words.

被动式 = (be) + 过去分词
is locked = 被锁
is cooked = 被煮
is spoken = 被说
are sold = 被卖
are made = 被制造
当然中文是尽量避免这种被动式结构，我们会说“市集有人卖菜”，而不说“市集有菜被卖”；英语则较常用被动式的表达方式。

a word 可以 put together to make phrases?

俺發覺到本地人很喜歡用 （或者濫用）完整的句子，"As far as ......is/are concerned，" ， 美式節目或新聞聽到句子只是 " As far as..,"

可不可以說出兩者的分別。

相信这不是滥用，单单 as far as + [名词] 而省略动词部分 不太符合英语语法，相信大部分的人都不接受，最好避免。但语言是有生命的，尤其是美国年轻的一代的确有省略动词部分的趋势，尤其在口语使用方面。任何语言都有如此的现象：一些错误的词句用法因为相互的影响而被广泛使用，最后被接受成为语言的一部分。但有些情况是绝对不可以省略的，如 as far as she is concerned 省略为 as far as she 就很明显的不符合语法。我的建议是不要省略动词部分，至于那么做到底正确与否，留给语法家去辩论和伤脑筋好了。（反正不是我们的语言，以后英美没落了，谁还会在乎这麻烦的语言......哈哈）

正确，这是虚拟/subjunctive句子。
标准答案：
I suggested that he see a doctor.
I suggested that he should see a doctor.

虚拟句/subjunctive 是比较特别，也比较少见的句型，但句子结构很简单，动词都用[原型动词] 如 be, go, see，不分过去现在，不分单数复数。
虚拟句用于表达想要或希望发生的事情，强调事情的紧急或重要，一般用于
（1）某些动词如：suggest, advise, insist, recommend, ask, demand, propose, request + that
（2）一些词句如：It is important / essential / vital / urgent / recommended / best / desirable + that
例句：
He insisted that I take a rest at home.
I recommend that she get some professional advice.
She demanded that he make the payment in advance.
It is important that he be present at the meeting.
It is recommended that the gate be locked at night.
It is urgent that she seek medical attention.

你所建议的在当时并没发生，不是存在的事实，只是你希望发生的事情。
