公司简介及业务模式
凯发(Hyflux)是一家全面的水方案企业，它生产清洁和安全的水，价格大众化及输送便利。其项目和营运活动遍布全球，包括在新加坡、中国和阿尔及利亚的反向渗透法海水淡化厂。

公司提供薄膜海水淡化、水再循环及污水处理方面的长久方案，如薄膜生物反应器技术及食水处理等等。

企业焦点
凯发目前把其焦点放在竞标中东和非洲等新市场的项目，而它在亚洲和阿尔及利亚已建立起了稳固的市场地位。全球水业的前景好转，并有更多与水相关的基建项目公开招标。

年度报告
凯发在2013年录得的盈利下跌28%，原因是在该年完成的项目在时间上带来影响。也预期其2014年上半年的业务会放缓，由于一些工程完工及受到项目时间上的影响。

公司目前的本益比是极高的50.78倍，比行业的平均16倍高出超过两倍。如果你青睐的是高本益比的增长型股，或许你必须考虑到，凯发的本益比与增长率比例为22.6倍。从这个比例来看，凯发并不是那么诱人。

总结
虽然公司所处行业的前景好转，但技术性指标及基本面分析都不足以令我会投资于凯发。

或许手持凯发股票的投资者可考虑趁其估值目前偏高而离场。尤其是美国联储局很可能会在2015年调高利率，到时候上市公司的估值将会大打折扣。

凯发(Hyflux)的1Q14收入下跌29.1%至8,830万元，由于受FY14项目开工的时间表所影响。毛利微增4.6%至5,240万元。净利激增三倍至3,790万元，由于脱售在水处理技术研发公司Hyflux Marmon Development及投资公司Marmon Hyflux Investments的股权带来收益。

Hyflux posts 31% higher FY14 earnings of $57.5 million

SINGAPORE (Feb 27): Hyflux, the water solutions provider, said it posted earnings of $57.5 million for FY14, 31% more than the year before, despite a 40% drop in revenue.

Revenue for the period fell to $321.4 million from the previous year's high of $532.8 million. This was mainly due to the timing of project construction activities after Tuasspring desalination plant was completed and the slower-than-expected Dahej project.

But earnings rose on the back of the company's divestment of the joint venture with Marmon Water LLC group and Hyflux Innovation Centre last year.

About 84% of its revenue still came from municipal projects for FY14, while contributions from the industrial sector rose to 14% or $46.4 million. China and Singapore contributed the most to its revenue for the period.

For the year ahead, Hyflux’s Magtaa seawater Desalination plant, the largest in the world, will contribute to the company’s income in the next 25 years.

Including its US$210 million portfolio in Qurayyat, Hyflux’s order book stood at $2.9 billion as at year-end.

On the local front, Hyflux’s Tuaspring Desalination Plant is expected to be connected to the national grid by mid-year, which means the start of operating costs.

Hyflux has proposed a final dividend of 1.60 cents per share, which brings a total dividend for 2014 to 2.30 cents a share.

Its share price fell by 0.56% to close at 90 cents today.
