其实我是读cmputer science地。。
我有一点不明白。。为什么要读C++programming?
现在不是已经有4th 和5th generation了咩？
为什么还要学会3rd generation?有用的吗？
现在还有人用C来programm的？？
还有读那么多数学有在programming帮到的吗『？？ |

computer science
是读关于how computer works的concept
programming， 你说的对， why not choose high level language
我告诉你
因为c language(或assembly language能让你明白computer flow）
记住， computer science不是比programming 厉害或会多种language 或会最新的language
The rest i will it explain in english,

- Maths in the first year will be usually a run through on discrete maths, of which is kinda different compared to most of the SPM additional maths that deals heavily with calculus and so forth. Discrete math deals mainly with logic related stuff, and is often more abstract.
- Algorithms related subjects - a brief introduction usually during 1st year, with more advanced followups later
- Hardware related subjects - not as in tinkering with hardware, but looking at how software interacts with the hardware at the very low level. often involves some sort of assembly language being used as the learning tool.
- Computing theory related subjects - rather maths related, of which builds upon the math subjects taught during the earlier years. this also expands on the algorithms part as well when it deals with the mathematical analysis of an algorithm's performance
- Database - not so much as in learning about how to use a particular database server itself, but more of on relational algebra
- Operating Systems - not so much as in learning how to use a particular OS, but how an OS works internally. process scheduling, file systems, memory management, etc.
- Languages and Compilers - looking at programming languages from a more abstract level, identifying strengths and weaknesses for each language type. deals also with compilers, how they work and so forth
- Software Engineering related subjects - not as detailed as in a dedicated software engineering course, but deals with the fundamentals such as analysis & design, design patterns, etc.
Basically, such are usually the core items in a CS course. There can also be other subjects that can be either a core, or an elective depending on the place offering the degree, such as:
- Network & Data Communications - not just to do with IP based networks, but deals with all forms of data communications
- AI
- Computer Graphics (openGL, etc)
Needless to say, there'll be the usual introduction to programming subjects usually done at first year to prepare the students for the work they'll need to do during later years. |

我读 SC 时,也每天问你这个问题....
我现在换到社会大学了...
有,现在还有人在用 C/C++ programming... 而且是不小的公司... 
我知道在大马至今还有用到C/C++ programmer 的包括: Intel, HP, IBM, Shell, Seagate, Motorola, Panasonic, 和 Toshiba (相信还有跟多)
不同的 PL, 有他各自的长与短处...  |

当然，因为programming c/c++ 是专业的语言, 我们所用的windows / office / antivirus 都是用它开发的。暂时没有其他语言能够代替它。 |

那我想问一下programmers的marketing demands会高吗？
通常自己的公司有身的system了，好象很少需要programmer了。。
酱programmer的失业率高吗？？
还有读computer science 后还有什么related field可以做？？？
好象问得太多了，可是也为我的未来担心。。
我家境不好。。所以难免会想到未来毕业后的工作。。 |

据我了解，C#, VB, ASP,Java 等都很需要人手，
特别是那些有web application经验的好手。
system不会是100%完美的，
就算是一个很好的system，都有它需要改变的时候，
很多公司为此提供solutions，改变现有的system/software，
来迎合需求。
放心，不会没有工作的，只是看你会不会，有没有人要train你。 |
