Lyon declare striker Alexandre Lacazette will not be sold this summerLacazette, 22, played for local side ELCS Lyon aged just seven, and Lyon noticed the promise in the hometown kid, signing him up as a 12-year-old. The forward then made his first team debut as a 19-year-old back in 2010, and he has gone from strength to strength ever since. Whilst it has taken Lacazette some time to establish himself as a first team regular at the Stade Gerland, he has absolutely exploded this season, hitting 16 goals in all competitions, including 14 goals in just 29 league games for Lyon, contributing three assists in the process. Those impressive displays have attracted interest from elsewhere, and the newly capped French international is drawing admiring glances from the likes of Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool and Serie A giants Juventus after a successful campaign - but Lyon say that he won't be leaving this summer. "Of course Clement will be with us 100 per cent next season – that's a yes", he said. "There is no good exit for Clement." Meanwhile, when talking about Lacazette, Aulas said; "Lacazette will be with us again without a problem next year." The 22-year-old will still be the subject of interest from Arsenal and Liverpool, with the Gunners needing an injection of pace in their frontline and Arsene Wenger's knowledge of French football, whilst Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will be looking to add support for his dynamic striking pair of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez.
