据《每日邮报》最新消息，巴萨希望收购利物浦队中的27岁西班牙国脚里埃拉。

连续两个赛季在欧冠中上演“三英战巴萨”之后，红蓝军团已将英超四强当成了问鼎大耳朵杯的最大对手。而在今夏的转会市场上，巴萨更是屡次被传出挖英超球队墙角，达到打击对手目的的消息。根据《每日邮报》消息，最新的人选是27岁的利物浦边锋里埃拉。

在这个夏天，巴萨除了没敢和“仇敌”切尔西打交道之外，几乎将英超其他三强骚扰了遍。从曼联铁卫维迪奇、利物浦后腰马斯切拉诺，再到阿森纳双星法布雷加斯和埃布埃，巴萨技术主管贝吉里斯坦一直在乐此不疲的表达着自己的引援计划。而在一次次的遭遇闭门羹之后，巴萨又再一次将目标掉转回安菲尔德球场，这一次他们看上了西班牙当红国脚里埃拉。

现年27岁的里埃拉出自马洛卡青训营，初露锋芒之后转会法甲波尔多，2005年夏天又重回西甲加盟西班牙人队，并通过两个赛季的不俗表现获得了贝尼特斯的亲睐。2008年夏天，利物浦斥资800万英镑将其带到了英超赛场。而在自己的红军处子赛季中，里埃拉就用出色表现获得了主力位置，成为了上赛季利物浦多线挺进中的关键角色。

反观巴塞罗那方面，由于新赛季要参加70场左右的正式比赛，因此巴萨现有人员显然不足以应付如此密集的赛事，继续充实阵容也是瓜迪奥拉早就提出的要求。在左边卫和中锋位置上相继收获马克斯维尔和伊布之后，巴萨现在最缺的位置就是边后卫和边前卫。

在今夏的热身赛中，巴萨两名小将佩德罗和赫弗伦都有不俗发挥，但立即在新赛季中委以重任还不大现实，因此招募里埃拉这样正值当打之年的国脚级选手对于巴萨来说才是合理的选择。在左边锋位置上，里埃拉拥有出众的实力，而他在西班牙国家队与哈维和伊涅斯塔等人的默契，也足以让他尽快适应诺坎普。此外，由于司职左边锋的亨利在近期表现低迷，因此巴萨若能招来正牌左边锋，亨利也将得到彻底解放，年过32岁的法国人将可以自由游走在中锋和边锋的位置上，在伊布轮换时顶上中锋之位。

Liverpool Owners Leave Rafael Benitez With Only 2m to Spend – Report

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez has reportedly been told that he has only 2 million to spend before the transfer period comes to a close.

According to a report in The Mirror, the Reds' gaffer was in talks with owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett to enlarge the transfer kitty, but has been left red faced after being told that he will receive no more than the aforementioned sum to play with during the current transfer season.

Due to Daniel Agger's persisting back problem, 'Rafa' was reportedly looking to strengthen his side with some much need defensive cover by signing a centre-back. He was also said to be keen to sign a striker who could play wide, giving the Merseyside club more tactical options.

However, with the sum that the Spaniard has before him, he is unlikely to sign a single player on a permanent basis.

Owing to the lack of funding, the boss is reportedly keen to add a temporary fix to continue the 'Rafalution'.

The newspaper believes that the club's primary target was Ryan Shawcross, but Stoke City appear to be unwilling to let an important player go out on loan for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, the Anfield boss is said to be looking towards Real Madrid defender Ezequiel Garay, as he believes that the second coming of the Galacticos will have significantly reduced the chances of Argentine securing a spot in the first team.

Benitez has raised about 46.5m (40m) owing to the sales of Xabi Alonso, Alvaro Arbeloa, Jack Hobbs, Paul Anderson and Sebastian Leto. The former Valencia coach also raked in 14m (12m) when he offloaded Robbie Keane during the previous transfer window.

The club's only significant acquisitions of the summer have been those of Glen Johnson from Portsmouth and Alberto Aquilani from Roma, totalling to an expenditure of about 38m (33m).

Liverpool Join Hunt For Newcastle's Steven Taylor - Report

Newcastle United's much coveted centre-back Steven Taylor has gained another potential suitor in Premier League runners-up Liverpool.

The Newcastle Evening Chronicle claims the Reds are keen on the former England Under-21 captain, but will join Aston Villa and Everton in the battle for his signature.

Everton manager David Moyes has kept a close eye on Taylor as the Joleon Lescott transfer saga rumbles on but has also sounded out Arsenal over the availability of Swiss defender Philippe Senderos.

Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has reportedly been alerted to Taylor's discontent with the situation at Newcastle by former Toon stars James Milner and Habib Beye.

Whilst Taylor has not expressed any desire to leave Newcastle he is widely regarded to be playing in a level below that of his ability.

Transfer turmoil has caused the departure of many players from Tyneside this summer as the appointment of manager-in-waiting Alan Shearer failed to materialise.

However Newcastle managing director Derek Llambias confirmed the club are in talks with local businessman Barry Moat and two other interested parties regarding the sale of the club.

A quick sale and immediate appointment of Shearer as manager could help the Magpies hold on to Taylor and other stars at the club.

Newcastle's staggering wage bill has been slashed with the exit of big earners Michael Owen, Obafemi Martins, Mark Viduka and Damien Duff, who completed a move to Fulham on Tuesday.

steven  taylory要来的话，利物浦钱不够可以送一些球员交换，毕竟taylor的周薪在英甲来说绝对是纽卡的负担，然后再弄点分期付款还是其他条件，机会还是有的

Gillett & Hicks refuse to sanction Silva transfer

Reports here in Spain today claim that George Gillett and Tom Hicks have refused to sanction a deal for David Silva despite assurances earlier in the summer that a package would be signed off.

Rafa Benitez has been linked with the Valencia winger for months and we have continually reported that the player was ours should the Liverpool manager want to take the option on him, especially after Real Madrid dropped their interest.

However, as we stated all summer to our VIP members, we were confused as to why the deal hadn't gone through leaving us to assume that the boss had a better option. Wishful thinking it would seem.

Football journalists here are stating that Benitez has been unable to push through the deal and strengthen his squad because the club's owners have blocked this move and others.
