（吉隆坡8日讯）马熔锡机构（Malaysia Smelting Corp Bhd）截至今年6月杪第二季（2019财年第二季）净利按年劲扬两倍至748万令吉或每股1.9仙，一年前为246万令吉或每股0.6仙，归功于锡矿业部门的盈利增加。
惟季度营业额下跌11.5%至2亿8908万令吉，2018财年次季报3亿2682万令吉，主要是精炼锡销量下降所致。
根据文告，锡矿业部门录得1500万令吉税前盈利，一年前为910万令吉。
但锡冶炼部门继续亏损，税前亏损为370万令吉，主要是北海工厂的低回收率、高营运成本和营运效率低所致。
马熔锡机构在现财年首半年净赚1609万令吉，比上财年同期的704万令吉超出一倍以上。现财年首半年营业额则下跌12.8%至5亿9653万令吉，一年前报6亿8377万令吉。
尽管季度盈利大涨，但美国对中国产品征收关税影响了中国的主要电子产品和智能手机制造商，导致锡焊料的需求和价格走弱，因此该集团预计今年下半年将面临挑战。
马熔锡机构还警告说，由于合理化业务营运，导致两家工厂的营运成本不断上升，因此预计这将影响今年剩余时间的财务表现。
尽管市场充满挑战，该集团将继续专注于营运效率，目前正在努力改善营运、技术、人力和物流。
该集团还将考虑与其他单位合作，以扩大采矿活动。
