马熔锡半年赚2164万

（吉隆坡7日讯）马熔锡机构（MSC，5916，主板工业产品股）截至6月杪次季，获净利901万5000令吉或每股9仙。
马熔锡机构今天向交易所报备，去年同期净亏1028万4000令吉或每股10.3仙。
次季营业额则从去年的3亿9627万9000令吉，按年萎缩22.3%，报3亿787万9000令吉。
累计首6个月，该公司净利报2163万8000令吉或每股21.6仙，年涨46.9%；营业额则年减11.2%，录得7亿1449万3000令吉。
子公司净利翻1.7倍
该机构的文告指出，由于锡价格提高，子公司拉曼水利锡米私人有限公司的锡米业务净利增加，按年涨1.66倍至940万令吉，推动整体次季业绩转好。
不过，在锡冶炼业务则面对220万令吉的亏损，归咎于营运开销提高，及产量减少。
总执行长拿督杨帕特里克在文告中说，由于外汇市和锡米市场持续波动，市场现况仍充满挑战。
另一方面，该机构总贷款从去年杪的3亿1500万令吉，减少7%，截至6月杪，报3亿3950万令吉，因此负债率从去年杪的1.2倍，减少至1.1倍。【e南洋】

李勇坚．同病相怜
继马镀锡工业（PERSTIM，5436，主板工业产品组）之后，又一家相关业务公司“沦陷”。
这次是号称全球第二大锡矿供应商的马熔锡机构（MSC，5916，主板工业产品组）。
马熔锡机构最新公布的次季业绩成功转亏为盈，但投资者却不给脸，狠狠推倒该股，其股价在上周二业绩出炉后急挫32仙至3令吉80仙的3个月低点。
比起马镀锡工业截至6月杪首季净利下挫76%至284万令吉，马熔锡机构表现不差，次季共取得901万5000令吉净利，扭转去年同期的1028万令吉亏损；上半年净利则扬升47.68%至2163万8000令吉，主要由于锡价走高及无须再为联营公司拨备。
该公司旗下拉曼锡矿盈利飙涨166%至940万令吉，带动采锡部门的税前盈利升高至1320万令吉。
尽管业绩不差，但马熔锡机构同样面对惨遭抛售的命运，难道是马镀锡工业效应扩散之故？一些投资者可能早前过度乐观看好该股，令其股价升高，如今发觉其表现不够出色，股价缺乏催化动力，因此抛货走人。
马熔锡机构次季净利虽然按年转盈，但按季却下跌28%；同时第二季营业额下跌22.31%至3亿零787万9000令吉，上半年营业额则滑落11.21%至7亿1449万3000令吉，可能投资者因此担心它接下来难有标青表现。
但是，整体而言，该公司盈利表现依然稳健，其熔锡业务表现较差，但采锡业务获利仍高。
尤其是目前锡价企稳于每公吨2万美元以上水平，该公司作为全球数一数一的采锡公司，应该受惠不浅，投资者却视而不见。
值得注意的是，近期金属商品表现不俗，包括钢铁、铝和铜等金属期货价格大涨，带动大马股市的钢铁股和铝材公司掀起炒风，股价飞升。相比之下，尽管锡价稳健，锡矿股却被冷落，股价背道而驰。
中国供给侧改革深化，令伦敦金属交易所（LME）铝期货价格上周冲破每吨2000美元，是近3年来首见，今年来涨幅扩大至18%，至于螺纹钢期货今年以来累计上涨约66.7%，价格接近4年半最高水准。这股涨潮有望蔓延至其它金属商品。
在铝和钢铁相关股项都已起跑之下，锡矿股还会消沉多久？

马熔锡第三季净利跌56%

（吉隆坡9日讯）营运开销和生产成本走高，马熔锡机构（MSC，5916，主板工业产品股）截至9月30日第三季，净利按年跌55.79%至764万8000令吉，或每股净利7.60仙。
公司向马交所报备，营业额则按年涨24.77%，录得4亿316万5000令吉，归功于当季走强的锡价和精炼锡的销售提升。
累计首九个月，马熔锡机构净利按年跌8.34%至2928万6000令吉；营业额则变化不大，滑0.9%报11亿1765万8000令吉。
总执行长拿督杨帕特里克指出，公司将继续改善营运效率，而目前熔炼炉科技的升级进展顺利。
“虽然外汇和金属价格波动，让前景看似充满挑战，但长远来看公司依然正面看待锡业增长。新科技如使用锡做生产材料的锂离子电池，将推动锡矿的需求。”【e南洋】

（吉隆坡22日讯）马熔锡机构（Malaysia Smelting Corp Bhd）第四季由盈转亏，受累于锡冶炼业务蒙受2340万令吉的税前亏损，因销量和副产品的盈利下跌，以及生产成本和营运开销走高。
马熔锡机构公布，截至去年12月杪末季净亏1336万令吉，或每股13.4仙，上财年同期则净赚238万令吉，或每股2.4仙。
末季营业额从3亿5014万令吉，下滑9%至3亿1852万令吉，主要由于精锡的销量和锡价下跌。
然而，该集团建议派发每股4仙的终期股息，须获股东在来临的股东常年大会上批准。这意味着2017财年的派息率为25%。
疲弱的季度业绩，拖累马熔锡机构全年净利挫53%至1593万令吉，2016财年为3433万令吉；营业额从14亿8000万令吉，按年跌3%至14亿4000万令吉。
展望未来，该集团表示，市况依然充满挑战，因外汇、全球商品和包括锡在内的金属价格继续波动。
“不过，集团将继续专注于营运效率，以缓解这些挑战。马熔锡正在努力改善所有营运、技术、人力和物流。”
总执行长Datuk Dr Patrick Yong表示，未来策略仍将是执行合理化计划，并捉住新的机遇，以在未来一年推动集团增长。
