但 ... until he has found... 应该可以接受。

have 的其中一个定义是“拥有”，不用于进行时态：
I‘m having a pencil. (我正在拥有一支铅笔。感觉怪怪的，对吧......？)
如果是其他定义则没问题：
I'm having breakfast. (正在吃早餐)
I'm having a bath. (正在洗澡)
He's having a great time.

He has had no more money since he was unemployed.

“没有多少钱”和“钱不够”是不一样的，你可以很有钱，但还是不够......
如果语法没错，就不要更改。
