it must be calculated in the condition buying the pens separately with rm 60
because the question state"With the amount of money, he can buy 25 more Type B pens than Type A pens."
the answer which is given by allmaths is true.
If the question didnt have "can"
thet means he are buying the both types of pens in a time with rm 60.
let say he used up rm 60 to buy the pens,
then the solution is

Let amount of pen A=x
amount of pen B=x+25
price of A=0.20+y , price of B=y
(x+25)(y)+(a)(0.20+y)=60
2xy+0.2x+25y=60----eq1
from basic statement we know that,
if pens A with amount of x discount by rm0.20,
the amount of pens with cost rm y will increase by 25. so:
25y=0.2x
x=25y/0.2
x=125y-----eq2
subs eq2 into eq1,
250y^2+50y-60=0
25y^2+5y-6=0
y=0.40 or y=-0.60 (rejected)
then pen A=rm 0.60, B=rm 0.40 |

1/w=1/(a+bi)=(a-bi)/(a^2+b^2)=[a/(a^2+b^2)-bi/(a^2+b^2)]
so, I(w)=b=1/2
Re(1/w)=a/(a^2+b^2)=1/2-----eqn 1
from eqn 1, a/(a^2+1/4)=1/2 when b=1/2

(x+iy)^2=x^2-y^2+2ixy
so x^2-y^2+2ixy=i=0+i
compare,
x^2-y^2=0
x^2=y^2
x=y
2ixy=i
2xy=1
2x^2=1,when y=x
x^2=1/2
x=[(2)^1/2]/2 or x=-[(2)^1/2]/2
and y=[(2)^1/2]/2 or y=-[(2)^1/2]/2 ,as y=x
