佳杰科技将分销Hortonworks的数据中心解决方案

（吉隆坡12日讯）佳杰科技（ECS ICT Bhd）今日宣布，获委任为Hortonworks Data Centre Solutions在本地的第一家分销商。
佳杰科技在文告指出，Hortonworks Data Centre Solutions是一个企业连接数据套件，具有端到端功能，用于管理动态数据和静态数据。
根据分销协议，佳杰科技将根据Hortonworks招募新的经销商，并通过提供承包、定价、订单管理、售前和启动联合支援，以及全马营销来管理经销商。
佳杰科技总执行长宋昭雄表示：“Hortonworks Data Centre Solutions加入产品阵容，不仅可以增强我们的分销组合，而且还有利于集团的地位，因佳杰科技目前是IBM软件的增值型分销商。”
他说，IBM将转售Hortonworks DataPlatform（HDP）作为其官方Hadoop产品，而Hortonworks将转售IBM的Data Science Experience（DSX）和BigSQL为HDP特定目标版本的一部分。
他补充：“这一新的合作关系有望将数据科学和机器学习扩展到Apache Hadoop生态系统的更多开发人员，这将使佳杰科技能够交叉销售Hortonworks的IBM解决方案。”

佳杰科技第三季净利跌20%
2017年11月3日
（吉隆坡2日讯）受累于信息和通信科技（ICT）服务和企业系统业务，佳杰科技（ECS，5162，主板科技股）截至9月杪第三季，净利按年跌20.48%，取得488万7000令吉或每股2.70仙。
不过，仍派息每股2.50仙，除权日和享有权益日，分别落在本月27日和29日，支付日则在12月14日。
营业额年增2.12%，达4亿4616万令吉。
合计9个月净利达1471万8000令吉，按年减16.21%；营业额年涨6.45%，报13亿5380万7000令吉。
该公司今日向交易所报备，除了ICT分销业务营业额增加，企业系统和ICT服务业务，都在第三季和首9个月下跌。
展望下半年，由于消费者情绪疲弱，以及企业系统的私人和公众领域谨慎支出，ICT市场将维持低迷。
虽然市场条件严峻，该公司认为，末季表现将佳于首9个月，因适逢节日期间，消费者支出增加。【e南洋】

最新进展
受累于通信科技服务和企业系统业务，佳杰科技（ECS，5162，主板科技股）截至9月杪第三季，净利按年跌20.48%至488万7000令吉，或每股2.70仙。
但仍派息每股2.50仙。营业额则年增2.12%至4亿4616万令吉，归功于ICT分销业务。
行家建议
佳杰科技持续扩展ICT分销和企业系统业务的产品组合。
ICT分销业务方面，最近专用于玩游戏的笔记型电脑广受欢迎，公司未来会将部分重点转向该领域。
电子商务方面，该公司计划在Lazada平台推出5个官方品牌商店，分别是Lenovo、Motorola、DJI、Hewlett Packard和ASUS，且寻求在年杪前，在Shopee和11th Street平台推出官方商店。
虽然市场情况严峻，但我们维持正面看待佳杰科技，因末季向来都是一年里最强的季度。

(COLLECTIVELY REFERRED TO AS THE "ISA GROUP") BY THE COMPANY | The Board of Directors of ECSB wishes to announce that the Company has on 21 November 2018 entered into a Term Sheet dated 21 November 2018 (“Term Sheet”) with I.S.A. Technologies Sdn. Bhd. The Board of Directors of VSTECS wishes to announce that VSTECS has on 18 April 2019 entered into a Share Sale Agreement (“SSA”) dated 18 April 2019 with Mr. Lim Fun Jin, Ms. Alice Yuen Mei Foong, Mr. Yong Keong Tuck and Mr. Tan Wai Ho (collectively referred to as the “Vendors”) to acquire 150,000 ordinary shares in I.S.A. Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (“ISAT”), representing 30% of the total issued share capital of ISAT (“Sale Shares”), for a total purchase consideration of RM14,573,000/- (the “Purchase Consideration”) (the “Proposed Acquisition”).

The Board of Directors of VSTECS wishes to inform that the Company has on to-date received notification from I.S.A. Technologies Sdn. Bhd. ('ISAT') that the latter has received the Stamp Certificates dated 10 May 2019 from the Stamping Office in respect of the Forms of Transfer of Securities. In view thereof, the Proposed Acquisition has been deemed to be completed on 10 May 2019 whereupon ISAT has became a 30%-owned associate company of VSTECS. The remaining 70% equity interest in ISAT is jointly held by Mr. Lim Fun Jin, Ms. Alice Yuen Mei Foong, Mr. Yong Keong Tuck, Mr. Tan Wai Ho and Mr. Alvin Yuen Tai Keng, respectively.
Further developments of the above matter will be announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course.
