The Board of Directors of Pelikan (“Board”) wishes to announce that its 96.45% subsidiary Pelikan Holding AG has on 27 December 2013 entered into an agreement to purchase from Herlitz PBS Aktiengesellschaft papier-,Büro-Und Schreibwaren (“Herlitz PBS”), a 70.92% subsidiary company of Pelikan, the German and Austria stationery business with effect from 1 March 2014.  The purchase price is based on the net assets value of assets (inventories, fixed assets, payables) to be taken over on closing date (ie.28 February 2014) with a premium of EUR3.9 million.  The service companies in the area of logistics, merchandising, information technology, production and international sales services shall continue to be remained in Herlitz PBS. This announcement is dated 30 December 2013.

PELIKAN INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION BERHAD (“PELIKAN” or “Company”) PROPOSED INTERNAL REORGANISATION OF PELIKAN’S BUSINESS IN GERMANY (“PROPOSED REORGANISATION”) We refer to the Company's announcement dated 3 October 2013 and 30 December 2013. The Board of Directors of Pelikan (“Board”) would like to announce that upon the completion of the Proposed Reorganisation, the share of the Pelikan Group’s results and net assets of the Herlitz PBS Aktiengesellschaft papier-,Büro-Und Schreibwaren (“Herlitz PBS”)’s German and Austria business would be increased from the existing effective interest of 70.92% based on the level of Pelikan’s interest in Herlitz AG, the parent company of Herlitz PBS to 96.45% based on the level of Pelikan’s interest in Pelikan Holding AG.  The Proposed Reorganisation will not have an effect on the paid-up share capital, shareholding of the substantial shareholders and gearing of Pelikan. The premium of EUR3.9 million is predominantly based on the customer base, brand names of “Herlitz” and “Susycard” taken over. The highest percentage ratio applicable to the Proposed Reorganisation pursuant to paragraph 10.02(g) Chapter 10 of the Listing Requirements is 2.2%. None of the directors and/or major shareholders of Pelikan and/or persons connected to them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the Proposed Reorganisation. This announcement is dated 3 January 2014.

歐洲市場復甦 百利金創18個月新高

（吉隆坡7日訊）隨著歐洲市場復甦，券商認為百利金（PELIKAN，5231，主要板消費）是受惠于歐洲復甦、國內最佳代表股項，帶動股價寫18個月新高水平。

百利金以72.5仙開跑，在開盤1小時攀升4.5仙或6.25%，至76.5仙。隨后，該股收窄增幅，休市時掛75.5仙，起3.5仙，為18個月以來最高水平；半日成交量686萬5900股。

該股午盤維持在相關價位，閉市時，該股上揚3仙，報75仙，成交量933萬2100股。

對于銷售貢獻主要來自歐洲市場的百利金，跟隨歐洲經濟復甦的步伐，2013財年全年終于取得254萬令吉稅前盈利。不過，2013財年末季而言，虧損從5341萬令吉，大幅收窄至937萬令吉。

根據2013財年的報備文件，德國業務貢獻821萬2000令吉營業額。

該公司早前解釋說，德國業務獲得正面發展，因為該國消費情緒改善，促使該國客戶增加訂單，尤其學校文具產品。【中国报财经】

遭馬證交所質詢 百利金漲16仙

（吉隆坡19日訊）近來股價頻頻走高的百利金（PELIKAN，5231，主要板消費），今日股價再度走高，一度高漲23仙或19%，報1.42令吉，遭馬證交所發出“異常交易活動”（UMA）。

百利金今日股價再度走高，開盤先起6仙，以1.25令吉迎市，隨后持續走高，並以1.37令吉掛休，漲18仙，半日成交量達1573萬7200股。午盤間，該股更一度高漲23仙或19%至1.42令吉。

閉市時，該股報1.35令吉，漲16仙，成交量達2708萬2700股。

隨后，馬證交所對該股發出“異常交易活動”諮詢，要求公司對股價今日異常走高做出解釋。

百利金自上週四起，股價頻頻走高，短短4日，股價從1令吉起至今日的1.35令吉，上漲35仙或35%。

隨后，該公司在回應時指出，公司上財年業績轉虧為盈，並在今年3月完成德國和奧地利業務內部重組，公司也正在評估內部重組的可能性，以更好反映業務和價值，但這還未確定。待公司確定后，會再另作宣布。

除了上述業務，公司並沒其他未宣布計劃，也不清楚任何報告和傳言，影響公司業務和股價。【中国报财经】

（吉隆坡23日讯）白利金（PELIKAN，5231，主板消费产品股）建议私下配售最多5000万股新普通股，每股面值1令吉，相等于发行及缴足资本的10%。

目前，公司发行及缴足资本为5亿786万8050令吉。

假设发售价为每股1.19令吉，较截至昨日的1.317令吉5天加权均价，折价约9.6%。

对此，预计可筹集5950万令吉，供偿还银行贷款及作为营运资本。
