（吉隆坡26日訊）馬來西亞國家羽球隊雙打主教練烈西，希望老將鐘騰福與李萬華能夠在世界錦標賽贏得尊重。 2007年第16屆世錦賽將在8月13日至19日，在吉隆坡武吉加里爾布特拉室內體育館舉行，目前距開賽剩下18天。 雖然，烈西沒有為世界第5的鐘騰福與李萬華，定下爭冠目標。不過，他希望兩位資深球員，能夠在世界賽好好表現，贏得尊重。 他說：“騰福與萬華是我們最有經驗的組合，他們必須帶領其他組合，做好榜樣。他們常常為自己施加無謂的壓力，這根本沒有幫助。” 做好榜樣 烈西說：“我沒有為他們設下奪冠目標，只因我不想給他們壓力。現在有很多年輕組合都比騰福與萬華更快更強，他們應該為尊嚴而戰，盡量有多遠走多遠。” “他們往往在場上忘了自己是眾球員中，最資深的球員，他們應該依靠經驗比賽。現在，是時候他們要證明自己，同時贏得隊友與球迷的尊重。” 鐘騰福與李萬華，過去有太多在大賽掉鏈子的戰績。在2000年悉尼奧運被寄于爭取獎牌，結果在銅牌戰不敵韓國的河泰權與金東文。4年后雅典奧運，排名世界第一的騰福與萬華，倒在複賽。 兩人在世界錦標賽的戰績也不盡如意，2001年晉級半決賽是最佳成績。去年馬德里世界賽，兩人第2圈就被淘汰。 大馬共有4支組合獲得世界賽參賽權，冠軍重任壓在古健傑與陳文宏這塊寶，另兩支年輕組合是陳斌生與王順福以及憑外卡獲得參賽資格的法魯茲祖安與查克利。

林丹：我要用腦打球
（中國‧北京26日綜合電）中國羽球隊第一好手林丹說，他已經學會“用腦打球”。
林丹昨日在接受中國媒體的訪問時，披露他的這個新心態。

“用腦打球”可以說是他累積了這段時間的起落后，得到新啟點。特別在蘇迪曼杯混合團體賽，林丹更第一次在馬來西亞以外的地方，輸給他的宿敵--馬來西亞第一單打李宗偉，引起相當大的迴響。

隨著菲律賓公開賽結束后，世界羽球高手全面投入8月世界錦標賽的關鍵備戰，林丹在訪問中再次表達對宗偉的尊敬，但也暗示，“用腦打球”將是他征服世界賽的最大武器。

掩飾自己的情緒

記者(簡稱“記”)：蘇迪曼杯和亞運決賽，你先后輸球，這些是十分重要的比賽，因此外界對你有一些質疑，“林丹會在關鍵時刻掉鏈子嗎”……

林丹(簡稱“林”)：對于我來說，根本不需要一場比賽的勝負証明我的能力，也許一些質疑我的人并不了解我，對我的期望很高，一旦我沒有打贏，就有一些輿論誕生。

記：面對質疑，你怎么想？

林：我不會輕易懷疑自己，但會總結。2004年中國隊和丹麥隊打湯杯決賽，丹麥主教練說，我們有兩個雙打優勢，再拼下一個單打，就能奪湯杯，但是他們輸了。

贏也要贏得聰明

兩年后，還是中國隊面對丹麥隊，丹麥的主教練又說，我們有兩個雙打優勢，再拼下一個單打，結果他們還是輸了。

賽后，那個教練只說了一句話“中國隊太頑強了。”很坦然。我覺得輸球就該那么干脆，找到原因就好了。以前我一輸，心里非常不爽，這種心情一直延續到下一次比賽，現在大了，反而不希望讓別人看出自己的情緒。

記：這次打鮑春來和李宗偉（中國大師杯），你都先輸一局，似乎有點“慢熱”？

林：對手很強，剛上場比較緊，放不開，很正常的情況。

記：你曾想轉變風格，更多地靠技朮贏球……那你的球風到底是什么樣？是不是別人殺一球，一定要以牙還牙？

林：其實很多比賽，殺也是贏、不殺也是贏，就看自己怎么打，林丹的風格首先是足夠興奮，其次要贏得聰明。

前兩年，人家殺我，我就一定會想辦法殺他，還特別在意最后几個球，一定要贏得很漂亮，現在大了，學會用頭腦、用戰朮去贏球。

記：道菲（希達雅）打球很聰明，甚至可以說有一點“狡猾”。

林：道菲很有天賦，他不像我們這樣玩命訓練。他有時候寧可放棄一些比賽，也不愿意真正輸給你，因此，可能這場比賽他比分上是輸了，但是心理上你根本沒有壓過他。

記：世錦賽就要開戰，你去年曾在馬來西亞公開賽上輸給李宗偉，這次你覺得自己勝算大嗎？

林：目標是衛冕冠軍，具體還要先看抽簽。馬來西亞比較悶熱，球速也有些變化，李宗偉是和道菲一樣很難對付的對手。


用腦打球的傅國強
林丹要“用腦打球”？

聽起來好像有點難以置信，堂堂一個長時間高踞世界排名第一的球員，現在才要“用腦打球”？

說穿了，“用腦打球”今天在羽球運動佔據非常重要的地位，一來當今世界羽球系列賽更改賽制，導致種子提前碰頭以后，眾將面對的挑戰和考驗更加嚴峻。

二來大小比賽特別頻密，處在這樣的一個環境和局勢，每個球員，特別是有望問鼎冠軍的球員，更必須好好利用和使用本身的體力和技術，務求在整個賽會都持之以恆，不至于浪費不必要的精力。

體力，當然要好好利用。

林丹這個時候拋出“用腦打球”的理念，恰恰反映他的聰明和進步。甚至可以說，他的思維、理念和心態，已經進入了另一個境界。

馬來西亞有沒有“用腦打球”的球員？

這個問題令人想起了傅國強。

傅國強在打球的時候，有“拼命三郎”的稱號，原因是他有使不盡的體力和精力，他就常常依靠這個不屈不撓的精神和鬥志，拖垮對手。

儘管他打球時贏得的個人榮譽不多，不過也因為這樣的一個特色，使他在世界羽壇，備受敬仰，任何對手都要給臉三分。

不過，1992年備戰吉隆坡湯姆斯盃決賽圈的關鍵時刻，當年的馬來西亞國家隊教練之一的韓健，提出了傅國強“用腦打球”的新要求和概念，結果引起爭論，傅國強怎樣用腦？他本來就是用體力打球。

韓健的概念簡單清晰，就是要傅國強好好利用體力，更多使用技巧、經驗甚至是技術跟對手周旋。

漫漫長路，老傅，你要擅于利用，以打造有勇有謀的“新傅國強”。

1992年湯姆斯杯，馬來西亞捧杯，出任第2單打的傅國強，就是一個“新傅國強”。

Koo-Tan and Chong Wei likely to be seeded second at world meet

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong and Lee Chong Wei have virtually sealed their places as the second seeds in the men's doubles and singles events respectively in the World Badminton Championships which will be held at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil from Aug 13-19.

Based on the latest world ranking released yesterday, Kien Keat-Boon Heong received a big boost when they moved up one rung to the second spot while Chong Wei remained third.

The world ranking is based on the Philippines Open results.  

Last Sunday, Kien Keat-Boon Heong and Chong Wei made it a double for Malaysia when they bagged the men's doubles and singles titles.

The Malaysians are certain to maintain their world rankings because there are no more major tournaments in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) calendar before the seeding for the world meet is finalised on Aug 2, based on the world ranking.  

The draw will be released on Aug 3.

China's reigning men's doubles world champion Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng, who has been dominating the world number one spot for a while, is certain to be the top seed.  

Barring any upsets, Cai Yun-Haifeng are expected to face Kien Keat-Boon Heong in the final.

Chong Wei is certain to be seeded second despite being ranked third behind the world number one Lin Dan and Chen Hong of China. This is because China did not name Chen Hong for the world meet.

And if both the top two singles players can live up to their top billings, a final between Chong Wei and Lin Dan is certainly on the cards.

Said national chief coach Yap Kim Hock: “Our hope was to see at least one of our men singles and doubles players seeded among the top in the world meet. Now, we are happy because this is likely to happen. It is our hope that they will go all the way to win the title.”

There was however, disappointment for Mohd Hafiz Hashim.  

He had hoped to be among the top eight in the world meet but due to his recent poor run he has dropped to 16th in the world rankings.

In fact, veteran Wong Choong Hann had taken over his position as the country's second best player when the latter came in at 15th.   

Hafiz however is playing in the world meet while Choong Hann is not.  :@

　　征战苏迪曼杯前，男单一号林丹曾以白色挑染的新发型凸显个性。昨日下午，林丹的女友谢杏芳则以慵懒的小卷发亮相，与高挑的身材映衬，显得女人味十足。“这是周一刚做的，大师赛前把长发剪短了，后来觉得直发不好打理，就弄卷了，我这个人挺懒的。”率性的谢杏芳解释道。对于女友的新发型，林丹是如何评价的呢？“其实她之前问过我意见，我觉得直发挺好看的，可是她又说不好打理。她做完头发回来，我第一反应是‘朱晶晶(中国女队一名年轻队员)怎么长高了？’总的来说，我觉得还可以吧。”林丹这样对记者说道。

　　除了做发型，谢杏芳还是“电影发烧友”。最近羽毛球队谈论最多的当然是正在热映中的《变形金刚》，林丹透露，上周二他和谢杏芳为看《变形金刚》付出很大“代价”，“那天早上，我们十点半从天坛公寓出发，打车去东方新天地，(大概一公里左右的路程)居然十一点半才到，在路上居然花了一个小时，这代价太大了。”而一旁的谢杏芳还有些意犹未尽，她略显兴奋地向记者们问道，“我还想去看《多啦A梦》呢，你们有谁看过的？好看吗？”

林丹问鼎世锦赛存几多障碍 避开一劲敌却遇搅局人

　　北京时间昨天，国际羽联公布了最新一期的世界排名。中国队继续占据各单项世界第一。菲律宾公开赛后，国际羽坛目前进入短暂的休战期，领先的排名将为国手在即将到来的世锦赛上赢得有利的种子位置。马来西亚似乎从来不是中国队的福地，但人们还是期待，林丹与谢杏芳能在吉隆坡连续第二次携手问鼎世锦赛冠军。

　　根据国际羽联规定，截止到5月3日，各协会在世界前8中占据4席者，将有4名(对)运动员入围世锦赛名单；有3人跻身前24位的，将有3人(对)获得参赛资格。而纷纷实现包揽前四壮举的中国男女单，将在8月13日开幕的世锦赛上以满额4人参赛。其余，男双、女双、混双均将派出3对组合应战。

　　在昨天公布的这份最新榜单上，林丹、陈宏、李宗伟依然高居男单世界前三强。但失去国家队身份的陈宏，将遗憾地无缘此次世锦赛。

　　此番本土作战，李宗伟也成为夺冠呼声最高的男单人选之一。毕竟，从2004年至2006年三年间，这位大马头号男单保持了马来西亚公开赛男单三连冠，创下了国际羽坛的一项骄人纪录。由于陈宏的缺席，李宗伟将顶替他成为赛会二号种子。这也意味着，在决赛之前，李宗伟将不会与林丹相遇。

　　而陶菲克将是扮演搅局角色的最佳人选。虽然印尼羽总希望陶菲克能前往马来西亚，但显然在这场角力大战中，待产的妻子和即将出世的孩子，更能赢得陶菲克的心。排名第十的陶菲克，将通过抽签决定落入林丹所在的上半区，或李宗伟把守的下半区。

　　相比男单的群雄逐鹿，谢杏芳的卫冕之路将清晰很多。若能在马来西亚第三次登上后座，谢杏芳的三连冠将创造世界羽坛的一项新纪录。

　　中国女单将以四人满额参赛。谢杏芳目前紧随张宁之后列世界第二，她将被列为世锦赛二号种子。在此前的成都大师杯上，谢杏芳把握三个赛点2比1艰难战胜张宁，与林丹双双夺冠。那一战，谢杏芳得到的评价是，比任何时候都顽强。越发顽强的谢杏芳，在这站比赛中剪掉了留了很长时间的长发，开始以短发形象出现。这是她不顾林丹反对，很少为自己做的一个决定。

如果是八个就好种子lo！因为道菲可能会列为非种子，然后重演大马公开赛，首圈林丹再遇对道菲。

道费目前排名第十.....排除了第二的陈宏和第八的文萨....道费应该会被列为第八种子......无论在上下半区.....道费都有可能在八强时对上林丹或宗伟....又或者只是对到春来，陈金等其他前八种子球员......

Badminton: Azalina wants a world champion this year

SUBANG JAYA: Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said wants the national shuttlers to make up for their past disappointments by winning the world title to commemorate Malaysia's 50th Independence Day celebration next month.

Malaysia are hosting the World Championships for the first time from Aug 13-18 at Putra Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

“I have high hopes on the Malaysian badminton team. There have been good results of late and I hope that the shuttlers will win the world title for the first time.  

“It will be like icing on the cake if they can win it this year. It will be a great way to celebrate our 50th Independence Day (on Aug 31). This is what I hope to see the players achieving,” said Azalina.

Malaysia have not won the world title since the tournament's inception in 1977. The best achievement was in 2003 in Birmingham when Wong Choong Hann finished as runner-up.

This year, the hope is high on top men's singles shuttler Lee Chong Wei and top men's doubles pair of Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong to deliver.

Yesterday, Azalina received a Yonex racquet from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) after gracing a press conference to announce the sponsors for the Badminton World Federation (BWF)'s prestigious event.

In a lighter vein, Azalina said: “If the BAM do not deliver their promise (of winning the world title) this time, I may have to whack them with this racquet.”

Meanwhile, BAM president Datuk Nadzmi Mohd Salleh, who is also the chairman of the organising committee, said that it was all systems go for the world meet.

“We are in the final phase of preparation. I chaired a meeting yesterday (on Thursday) and everything is in place.  

“One of our main priorities is to ensure that the condition of the stadium (the 15,000 capacity Putra Stadium) is suitable,” said Nadzmi.

“We hope the public will come in big numbers to support our players. It is our hope that the long wait for a world title will come to an end here at home,” added Nadzmi.

For the record, national car producers Proton are the title sponsors while Yonex are the equipment sponsors. The others are 100Plus, Fuji Xerox, Eau Claire Mineral Water Sdn Bhd, HP Malaysia and Serbawangi Sdn Bhd.

Badminton: Chin- Wong under fire

KUALA LUMPUR: National top women badminton doubles pair Chin Eei Hui-Wong Pei Tty came under fire for their lack of focus in training and competitions.

Yesterday, national doubles chief coach Cheah Soon Kit feared that the duo would not do justice as the country’s best pair in the World Championships, which will be held at Putra Stadium from Aug 13-19.

The Manchester Commonwealth Games gold medallists, who enjoyed a career high when they were ranked fifth in the world early this year, have dropped to 11th in the latest ranking due to inconsistent performances in the last few tournaments.

Yesterday, Eei Hui had to stop training at Gymnasium Two in Bukit Jalil after aggravating an injury on her left knee.

“The duo seem to be out of focus lately. They have become very inconsistent. This does not augur well for the upcoming world meet,” said Soon Kit.

At the China Masters last week, the pair lost despite holding a 12-6 lead in the rubber game against Indonesians Lilyana Natsir-Vita Marissa. The Indons went on to win the Open title – the first non-Chinese pair to do so.

“This lack of focus is also related to Eei Hui’s injury. She has been having this nagging knee injury for a year now. I cannot push them hard in training because Eei Hui’s constantly complains of pain,” he said.

“Eei Hui needs the discipline in handling her injury. On the other hand, Pei Tty has to improve her attitude on the court. Our chances for a decent performances in the world meet do not look good if they do not buck up,” added Soon Kit.

Eei Hui admitted that her knee injury was affecting her performances.

“There is no time to recover because I am always training and preparing for a tournament. I cannot afford to miss any Open tournaments because it will affect our (Pei Tty and I) bid to qualify for the Olympic Games (in Beijing next year),” lamented Eei Hui.

“So, I am just pacing myself in training. I am trying to give my best but the injury is not helping at all.”

Pei Tty is determined to get back their confidence before the world meet.

“It is frustrating when I cannot bring out my real game during a competition. At the moment, our chances do not look good at all in the world meet but we will try to come out of this,” said Pei Tty.

Besides Eei Hui-Pei Tty, Malaysia are represented by KLRC Bhd’s Lim Pek Siah-Joanne Quay and Fong Chew Yen-Mooi Hing Yau, who received a wild card entry from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), in the world meet.
