Jurgen Klopp’s assistant Zeljko Buvac has reportedly left Liverpool ahead of second leg of the side’s Champions League semi-final with Roma.
Buvac has worked alongside Klopp for the last 17 years and coached under the German at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund before joining Liverpool in 2015.
The 56-year-old has often been nicknamed ‘the brain’ for his influence on Klopp’s ‘Gegenpressing’ approach but it’s understood the pair have fallen out in recent weeks.
