Junior Account Executive (Fixed Asset)
Job Description:
- Maintain fixed asset registers for the company’s group of entities.
- Maintain proper accounting procedure (including required reconciliations) over control of fixed asset acquisition and disposal.
- Administer the capital expenditure control and capital spend approval process.
- Liaise with various parties to ensure and verify that assets are accounted for.
- Support business units’ queries.
- Maintain fixed asset documentation and support business unit accountants on capital allowance claims for income tax computation purpose.
- Support annual capital budgeting.
- Support roll-out of Fixed Asset module in SAP for other related entities.
- Handle internal and external auditors’ queries.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy/ Finance or equivalent professional qualification
- Ability to develop good interpersonal relationships
- Highly motivated and task oriented
- Meticulous and cautious in completing tasks
- Ability to work using Excel confidently
- Knowledge of SAP system is an advantage
