In what would be a dream combination for Liverpool fans, Reds boss Rafa Benitez is set to use the money gained from the sale of Xabi Alonso in a bid to bring Spain striker David Villa to Anfield

Liverpool's midfield ace Xabi Alonso is expected to complete his 30 million pound move to Real Madrid by the end of the weekend - and Benitez is aiming to make Liverpool a strike force to be reckoned with as he aims to pair David Villa with fellow countryman Fernando Torres - in a double act that was used to deadly effect during Euro 2008.

It has been reported that with the loss of Alonso, Benitez would use a 4-4-1-1 formation that would see Steven Gerrard move back into central midfield alongside Javier Mascherano, providing the Argentine does not try to push for a move to La Liga giants Barcelona.

The problem though will be in persuading the Euro 2008 ace to move from cash-strapped Valencia to Liverpool - after he already turned down big money moves to Barcelona and Real Madrid - but it is thought that Fernando Torres could persuade him on a move to Merseyside.

Benitez does realised that it could be difficult to land Villa, and is eyeing Roma mdfielder Alberton Aquilani as another possible replacement for the outgoing Alonso who handed in an offical written transfer request to the club on Friday.

贝尼特斯不满皇马用钱+皇马弃将换阿隆索的报价，因为他更想得到所有现金来求购瓦伦西亚的比利亚，为此，利物浦和皇马的谈判陷入了僵局，而切尔西和曼城则想趁机会劫走阿隆索……

皇马打算用2400万镑+内格雷多、范德法特、亨特拉尔当中的一个换购利物浦的阿隆索，不过，据《太阳报》今日披露，贝尼特斯都看不上这3个皇马弃将，因为他只想要瓦伦西亚的比利亚。

虽然比利亚日前已经宣布不会加盟皇马或者巴萨，并且不会离开西甲，但贝尼特斯仍希望通过他的西班牙队友托雷斯作说客劝这名葫芦娃加盟，为此，手头并不宽裕的西班牙教头迫切需要将卖阿隆索所得的全部现金——3000万镑用来求购比利亚。

而另一方面，利物浦收购罗马的阿奎拉尼也日渐明朗，加上马斯切拉诺很可能会留下来，利物浦新赛季将会改打4411，杰拉德后撤把影子前锋位置留给葫芦娃。

显然，贝尼特斯的如愿算盘与皇马的冲突得非常厉害，《电讯报》披露，皇马方面只肯用2400万+球员交换的方式来换取阿隆索，因为佩雷斯认为阿隆索基本没有任何商业价值，不值得用超过2400万镑的价钱收购，加上球队本身的清洗任务也非常重，为此，双方的谈判陷入了僵局。

这就给一直觊觎阿隆索的切尔西和曼城提供了机会，据《每日邮报》披露，虽然阿隆索一直强调自己只有2个选择——加盟皇马或者留在利物浦，但如果皇马和利物浦因谈判闹僵甚至闹翻，阿隆索去不了伯纳乌的情况下留在安菲尔德也会非常尴尬，为此，切尔西和曼城都在密切注意利物浦谈判的进展。

早在5月份，切尔西和曼城都向利物浦提出了报价，特别是后者，在收购了众多前锋的情况下，现在更是特别需要中后场猛将，不过当时利物浦都拒绝了这两支“蓝”军的报价，并且宣布阿隆索是非卖品，但如今时过境迁，如果皇马坚持不肯出到3000万镑，反正是卖，卖给切尔西和曼城也一样，说不定还能赚更多

Javier Mascherano To Stay At Liverpool As Barcelona Rule Out Big Spending

Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano looks set to stay at Anfield this summer as Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola has suggested that the Blaugrana may not acquire any more new players this summer.

Mascherano is thought to favour a move to Spain, with his representative, Walter Tamer, suggesting the transfer would suit the Argentine for personal reasons.

Barca have spent around 45 million on striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Guardiola has hinted that the Swede's signature could be the last high-profile arrival at the Camp Nou this summer.

"The market is open but very complicated," Guardiola said, according to The Daily Star.

"All the signings are very expensive and one of the options is that there won’t be any more reinforcements.

"We are rich, but not as much as others. Everyone, for whatever player, is asking for a great deal of money.

“That wise man Sir Alex Ferguson was definitely right when he said that this isn’t a year to sign.”

The former Barca player continued, “What is certain is that we’re not going to bring in someone just for the sake of it."
