但藥效過了之後，麥可痛醒過來，請助理卻給他注射了「配西汀」。 然而「得普利麻」加上「配西汀」，卻引發麥可嚴重的心臟病發作。
一名內幕消息人士說，莫瑞本來設定好一套用藥程序，分次使用「得普利麻」讓麥可能夠安睡。但是這次麥可比莫瑞先醒過來，他要助理替他注射「配西汀」，卻沒想到注射麻醉藥「得普利麻」之後，如果相隔時間不夠久就注射止痛劑「配西汀」，是會要人命的！
法律規定，醫師不得開藥給對藥物成癮的病患。成癮的定義是明知有害，卻在無法自我克制以及出於非醫療目的的狀態下，繼續用藥。如果違反醫師專業的罪名成立，莫瑞除了刑責之外，還有可能被吊銷醫師執照。 |

Vanity Fair will publish two covers for its September issue: one featuring Michael Jackson and another featuring Farrah Fawcett, the two pop culture icons who both died on June 25.
"Two covers seemed like the sensible thing to do, given the passing of two major American icons on the same day," editor Graydon Carter said.
The Jackson cover features a 1989 Annie Leibovitz photo and the line, "Fallen King." Fawcett's cover reads, "Fallen Angel."
Contributing editor Lisa Robinson wrote the Jackson story based on their interviews over the years. Contributing editor Leslie Bennetts interviewed Fawcett's longtime love, Ryan O'Neal, as well as his children Griffin and Tatum and close Fawcett friend Alana Stewart for a story titled, "Beautiful People, Ugly Choices." Already that article has made news with Ryan confessing that he hit on daughter Tatum at Fawcett's funeral.
WWD's Stephanie D. Smith reports that "both covers will be shipped at random to subscribers and to newsstands beginning Wednesday" and that the cast of "Mad Men" had been slated for the cover prior to the icons' deaths.
The September issue of Vanity Fair arrives on newsstands in New York and L.A. on August 5 and nationally on August 11.

NEW YORK (AP/1010 WINS) -- A portrait of Michael Jackson in a red velvet jacket has been takenout of storage and displayed in Harlem, with an eye toward a possiblesale.
The 50-by-40-inch painting by Australian artist Brett-LivingstoneStrong is titled "The Book.'' It depicts Jackson seated and holding ajournal. The backdrop is Neverland, his California estate.
Jackson agreed to sit for the 1990 painting to raise money for charity.It was sold for $2.1 million. Toy inventors Marty Abrams and JohnGentilly later assumed ownership.
It was kept in a New Jersey warehouse for 17 years and is now at the Dancy-Power Automotive showroom.
Jackson died June 25.

KATHERINE JACKSON has withdrawn her petition to take control of her son MICHAEL's estate.
The King of Pop nominated his attorney John Branca and veteran musicexecutive John MCClain as executors in his 2002 will, which his familyclaimed to know nothing about.
The pop superstar's mother challenged their control last month (Jul09) by filing papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court requesting a say in how the estate should be run.
Lawyers for Branca and MCClain lodged a complaintagainst Katherine during the 13 July (09) hearing, insisting: "As lateas 4.10pm Sunday, July 12th, one of the attorneys for the Jacksons sentan email to Howard Weitzman (one of the attorneys for the SpecialAdministrators) stating that it was his intent to have the orderreflect that Katherine Jackson should be treated like a third trustee..."
Her bid was rejected by Judge Mitchell Beckloff.
During the latest court hearing on Monday (03Aug09), Katherinerequested her petition for control of the estate be withdrawnaltogether and Beckloff admitted Jackson's 2002 will into probate. Theruling places Branca and MCClain in charge of the superstar's estateuntil at least October (09).
Monday's hearing was not a complete loss for Katherine - the 79year old was named permanent guardian of the singer's three children,Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and seven-year-old Prince Michael II,aka Blanket. |

Robbie Williams has written a song about Michael Jackson.
The ‘Feel’ singer decided on adding a tribute to the late King of Pop – who died on June 25 – to his forthcoming album at the last minute.
He said: "Michael Jackson died. It's all so very sad. I couldn't get a lyric to fit on one of the new songs, so when he passed away I rewrote it with him in mind.”
Robbie only told record company executives of his plans to change the new LP at a meeting to finalise details for its autumn release last week.
The 35-year-old pop star also admits he had help writing the words from James Bond lyricist Don Black.
Robbie added to Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “When I say I, I mean me and Don Black.
"I was having a tough time with lyrics for a little while. Nothing would come out. Don kindly came in and gave me a helping hand, I'm honoured.
"My album is a killer. There’s Old Robbie, New Robbie and a Robbie that neither of us has met!”
The ‘Angels’ singer is also reportedly set to step into Jackson’s shoes to take over some of the dates he was scheduled to perform for his 50-date This Is It residency in London.
Both Robbie and Whitney Houston – who are both releasing albums this year - are being lined up by promoters to fill 23 of the dates at The O2 arena early next year. |

The exhibit, which is freeto the public, started July 15 and will run through Labor Day (firstMonday in September).Reva Thomas, who visited the exhibition, was so kind to send us photos of the exhibit.
Michaelis the co-inventor of a "system for allowing a shoe wearer to leanforwardly beyond his center of gravity by virtue of wearing a speciallydesigned pair of shoes which will engage with a hitch member movablyprojectable through a stage surface." There is an original sample ofMichael's drawings and signature included in the patent application.

Moon Crater Named After MJ
(4-8-2009) The man who was famous for his moonwalk now has a moon crater named in his honor. The Lunar Republic announced that the Posidonius J crater in the Moon's Lake of Dreams (Lacus Somniorum) has been renamed Michael Joseph Jackson.
For an image, please click here. The crater Michael Jackson may generally be viewed from Earth using a typical home telescope under standard observational conditions.
The 13.5-mile-wide crater is adjacent to a 1,200-acre parcel owned by the King of Pop. Michael was actually among the largest private owners of moon property, according to the lunar registry.
And this was actually a good investment. Michael bought the Lake of Dreams property for $27.40 per acre in 2005. Real estate in that area — which is zoned for proposed tourism, scientific industrial, operations base and light industrial — is now selling for 25 percent more now than it was four years ago. He also owned a smaller property in the Sea Of Vapours (Mare Vaporum).

`The Book` Might Also Be Available For Sale
(4-8-2009) The Michael Jackson painting `The Book`by Australian artist Brett-Livingstone Strong might also be available for sale. According to a New York Times article the owners say they are trying to sell it amid the renewed interest after his death.
The artist Brett-Livingstone Strong was a friend of Michael Jackson and shared his taste for fantastical style of life and dress. The 50-by-40-inch painting done in 1990 depicts Michael Jackson dressed in red velvet holding a journal of thoughts and sketches. It has touches of Vermeer, as that was one of Michael Jackson’s favorite painters, Mr. Strong said.
The painting was sold in 1990 for $2.1 million. It is now owned by two toy inventors, Marty Abrams and John Gentilly, who received the painting in 1992 from a Japanese businessman who had bought it to make good on a debt he owed the inventors.
They never displayed it in their own homes though.
“It’s so expensive that the insurance was too expensive. I have prints for $600. I might have a sketch for $1,000. But to put a $2 million painting in the middle of all that would be a little bit overwhelming.”
They were inspired to bring the painting out of storage after Michael Jackson’s death in June, in part because Mr. Abrams saw a news story about a sketch portrait of Michael Jackson by Andy Warhol that was being put up for auction.
The current owners of the original painting have received calls from as far away as Dubai after Michael Jackson’s death from people who knew they owned the painting.
“If someone came with a legitimate offer, I’d probably sell it,” said Mr. Abrams, who lives in Great Neck. He tried selling it when he first took possession of it in 1992, but couldn’t find any good offers. “I couldn’t get anyone at that time interested in the painting. I put it in storage for 17 years, and it has been there for 17 years.
Up to this point we’ve been very skittish." They have reached out to Phillips De Pury auction house to get an assessment. “I am not an art expert. I don’t understand the art market. We have no idea what it’s worth. Is it worth $1 million? Is it worth $10 million?”
Currently, the painting is being displayed at the Dancy-Power Automotive at Lenox Avenue and West 129th in Harlem (USA).
A limited, autographed set of lithographs had been created based on “The Book.” Around 375 of them were numbered.
Mr. Strong and Michael Jackson formed an art business partnership, the Jackson-Strong Alliance, around 1989 and 1990 to display their art work, which included this portrait. The two were brainstorming how to raise money for charity when Mr. Strong mentioned that a Japanese businessman, Hiromichi Saeki, had offered millions of dollars for a portrait of Mr. Jackson. Mr. Jackson said he would sit for it if the buyer agreed to pay a world record — ultimately $2.1 million, then reported as the highest amount ever paid for a living person. “Sometime later he told me he would have made $5 million for it,” Mr. Strong said. The businessman later went bankrupt and gave the painting to Mr. Abrams.
Mr. Strong still has a number of drawings done by Michael Jackson as part of the partnership.
“These drawings are really interesting. Some of the are really fantastic. They have been in a drawer for 17 years.”
He is hoping to hold an exhibit of the art.
