多元化迎挑战．ES陶瓷拓浸胶产品

（吉隆坡25日讯）ES陶瓷（ESCERAM,0100,创业板工业产品组）预见2018财政年前景将更具挑战，因此将积极多元化业务组合及拓展业务至生产其他浸胶产品市场。

ES陶瓷执行董事兼首席执行员黄福麟在股东大会后表示，该公司的核心业务为生产胶手套模具，尽管胶手套市场需求每年温和增加，大型厂家也积极扩张业务，但是基于胶手套售价胶着，客户呈观望态度，继而影响产量。

他补充，胶手套业务属于弹性领域，会跟随产品售价及生产成本而出现变化。

黄福麟相信，鉴于前景将更艰辛，该公司将积极多元化业务组合及拓展至其他浸胶市场。

他表示，ES陶瓷会尝试生产更多除胶手套以外的浸胶产品，目前，在与相关单位洽商中，希望近期能够有所定案。

非顶级手套收购对象

至于多元化业务至下游领域包括包装市场，黄福麟指出，只要机会出现，在成本及赚幅皆符合之下，ES陶瓷依然会进军下游业务，惟目前并没有任何实际计划。

黄福麟指出，国内多家大型胶手套厂商都是其客户，包括顶级手套（TOPGLOV,7113,主板工业产品组），不过，确定的是，ES陶瓷并不是顶级手套收购的对象。

黄福麟也指出，ES陶瓷放眼能够在未来，旗下厂房能够全面自动化，以便维持产品的质量。

他说，自动化不仅是购买机械而已，还必须有相关技术的人员负责观察监督，因此，需要更多的时间进行自动化。

“因此，我们将持续投资在训练技术员工上。”

黄福麟直言，目前，该公司的自动化贡献并不显著。

ES陶瓷目前在泰国及怡保皆有厂房，黄福麟指出，该公司尝试24小时运作，以分班制生产产品，主要是希望能够做好准备，以应付潜在获得的订单。

短期不会转板

黄福麟指出，ES陶瓷手握充裕的现金，将能够让公司自由使用。

“我们可随时进行计划，以便为股东创造附加价值，包括添购自动化机械及聘请更优秀员工。”

黄福麟指出，基于转板成本昂贵，对ES陶瓷难以带来更大好处，因此，尽管符合转至主板的要求，该公司短期内将不会转板。

首季净利挫73% 派息0.6仙

与此同时，ES陶瓷在盘后公布截至2017年8月31日第一季财报，净利受高营运成本，以及沉重售价压力影响，从前期的201万9000令吉大减72.51%至55万5000令吉；营业额也从去年同期的828万1000令吉下跌24.83%至622万5000令吉。

该公司董事部宣布派发每股0.6仙单层股息，已在10月20日支付。

产量减成本增
ES陶瓷次季净利挫87%

（吉隆坡22日讯）ES陶瓷（ESCERAM，0100，创业板）截至11月30日次季，净利按年大减87.24%，只赚25万6000令吉或每股0.10仙。

ES陶瓷今日向交易所报备，营业额也按年跌30.2%，报629万1000令吉，原因是产量减少。

税前盈利大跌87.33%，至25万7000令吉，归咎于营业额下跌、营运成本上涨、产品组合差异，以及贸易应收款项减值亏损。

半年赚81万

累计半年，净利减少79.83%，达81万2000令吉；营业额跌27.63%，至1251万6000令吉。

展望未来，各种关键成本增加及员工短缺，使生产成本持续提升，加上汇率波动，将对集团营运和盈利能力带来挑战。

对于接下来的挑战，管理层正采取举措，改善营运效率及监管和控制营运开销，以提升盈利能力和推动业务增长持续。

同时，管理层会继续探索机会，加强和改善集团的表现。【e南洋】

订单回升 ES陶瓷看好2019财年盈利

（吉隆坡29日讯）2018财政年净利大跌的ES陶瓷（ES Ceramics Technology Bhd）预计，2019财年将出现好转，因订单开始强劲回升。

总执行长黄福麟表示：“与去年相比，此次询价更多，其中一些变成订单，使未完成订单增至3个月。”

他今日出席第15届股东常年大会后向记者说：“展望未来，我们必须保持专注，以确保质量符合客户要求，且（保持）一致是关键。”

他补充，该集团还将继续投资于制造厂房自动化，以实现更好的营运效率和提高获利。

截至5月杪2018财年，ES陶瓷净利挫96.31%至23万4000令吉，同期报633万令吉；营业额也从3327万令吉，跌24.3%至2518万令吉。

另外，该集团已推迟从创业板转到大马交易所主板上市的计划，因为此举成本太高。

黄福麟表示，该集团短期内不会转板，并称未来两年仍将维持在创业板上市，尽管已达到转板要求。

在2015年，该集团设定了3年内转板的目标。随后，该集团的净利大幅增长，从2014财年的262万令吉，翻倍至2015财年的559万令吉。
