今年66岁的斯隆是1988年11月接过爵士队帅印的，在他的指挥下，爵士队取得了1000胜596负的战绩。本赛季他是连续第21个赛季担任爵士队的主教练。


斯隆除了创下NBA的历史，目前他还是美国各职业联赛中担任主教练时间最长的教头。


在接手爵士队之前，斯隆曾在1979年到1982年期间执教过公牛队，并赢得94场胜利。作为主教练，斯隆带队的总战绩为1094胜717负，是NBA历史上执教赢球第四多的主教练。

SALT LAKE CITY (AP)—Jerry Sloan became the first NBA coach to win 1,000 games with one team, getting 16 points and 12 rebounds from Andrei Kirilenko in the Utah Jazz’s 104-97 victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.

Utah fans chanted “Jerry Sloan!” and “Jer-ry! Jer-ry!” at the end in honor of the coach, who is 1,000-596 with the Jazz.

Brevin Knight had 11 assists, Carlos Boozer finished with 21 points and nine rebounds, and the Jazz held on despite letting a 31-point lead slip to eight in the fourth quarter.

The Jazz are 5-0 for just the third time in team history and won all five without point guard Deron Williams, who has been out since the preseason with a sprained left ankle.

Kevin Durant scored 24 and Jeff Green had 22 points for the Thunder, who were swept by Utah last season when they were the Seattle SuperSonics.

Sloan has been coaching the Jazz since 1988 and walked off the court like it was any of the other games he has coached in the last 20 years, briefly congratulating his players and heading to the locker room with no hint of a smile or any recognition of the accomplishment.

Sloan, never one for milestones, couldn’t have been pleased with the way the Jazz let the Thunder get back in the game with a poor second half. Utah had 19 turnovers, but made up for it by outrebounding Oklahoma City 45-36 and having 31 assists to the Thunder’s 15.

The Thunder came back in the third, going 12-for-17 and pulling within 78-63 on six straight points by Desmond Mason at the end of the period.

The Jazz had seven turnovers in the period and continued to be sloppy in the fourth as the Thunder trimmed the margin to single digits. Joe Smith cut the lead to 86-78 midway through the period before the Jazz regrouped with a 13-2 run.

Boozer set up Kirilenko for a dunk, then Kirilenko made a pass to Boozer in almost the same spot for another dunk to put the Jazz up 92-80. Knight made a steal to set up a 3-pointer by Kyle Korver that put Utah ahead by 15 with 4:26 left in the game.

The Thunder never got closer than 12 again and Jazz fans began the chants for Sloan in the final minute.

The Thunder scored the first eight points of the game, then went almost 10 minutes without a field goal. After falling behind 10-3, the Jazz went on a 21-0 run and led 29-15 at the end of the first quarter. Utah was 11-for-17 from the floor in the period and had nine assists to Oklahoma City’s zero.

Utah scored 21 straight in the first quarter while taking a 24-14 lead. The Jazz added a 14-2 run in the second quarter and led 58-29 at halftime.

尼克斯主场以107-99掀翻先前五连胜的爵士，打破对方的不败金身之余也将自己的胜场提升到4胜2负。令人惊讶的是，这竟是尼克斯自05年1月（16胜14负）后，又一次在胜率5成的基础上多赢两场。

克劳福德全场贡献32分，兰德里则有25分14篮板入账。爵士方面德隆-威廉姆斯依然因伤作壁上观，布泽尔19分17篮板，基里连科18分，奥库17分。爵士也错失了自98-99赛季以来首次取得开季6连胜的大好机会。

上半场面对尼克斯的快打旋风战法，爵士做的非常出色，始终压制着对手。但到了下半场风云突变，尼克斯在四分半钟的时间内突然打出一波11-0的攻击高潮，而在这段时间内爵士被逼的失误连连，出现了两次进攻24秒违例以及两次进攻犯规。

爵士随后虽有反击，但大卫-李的罚球将比分再次追成69平。而克劳福德的三分球更是帮助尼克斯三节比分牢牢定格在76-69。而在比赛最后阶段，杜洪的跳投以及兰多夫的快攻更是帮助主队将比分拉开到98-86，并一举锁定胜利。

在比赛前20分钟时间内，克劳福德无疑支撑起了全队。他一个人10投6中，而其余球员34投仅9中。科里-布鲁尔首节6投5中贡献12分，但随后的比赛碌碌无为。上半场爵士仍以54-49领先，但下半场的情形改变了一切。

威廉姆斯在10月18日对阵公牛队的季前赛中脚踝扭伤，他因此缺阵了爵士队6场比赛。上赛季，威廉姆斯场均得到18.8分和10.5次助攻，并且在这个夏天帮助美国队在奥运会上夺取了金牌，他的归来也为爵士队打了一针强心剂。

威廉姆斯本场打了31分钟，但仅仅8投1中，主教练斯隆解释说：“我也不知道他的状态到底会怎么样，这是他错过了六场比赛之后的第一次复出，我们觉得他可能只打5分钟，但他打了更长的时间，他到底能打多长时间完全取决于他自己的决定。”

今天早上起床，看见收悉的名字浮在爵士名单上面，高兴的跳起来；高兴得不能说出话来，迟迟都不去刷牙。。
他不是要修养多两周吗？哈....他回来了....


在休息了六场比赛以后，犹他爵士队的当家控卫德隆-威廉姆斯在美国时间周二早上主动向球队请战，因此他很可能在今天同费城76人队的比赛中获得出场机会。对于正在经历一个五场的客场之旅的爵士队来说，这将会是一个好消息。


“威廉姆斯告诉我他将要上场打球了。”爵士队主教练杰里-斯隆在球队今天早上结束投篮训练时接受采访时说，“我们将尽量谨慎的安排他出战。”

搜狐体育讯 北京时间11月13日，NBA常规赛继续进行，6胜1负的犹他爵士队客场挑战此前5战皆败的华盛顿奇才队，此前因伤缺席了爵士队前7场比赛的德隆-威廉姆斯在今天这场比赛当中复出，他全场贡献8分、6个篮板和7次助攻，布泽尔得到20分和7个篮板。但是奇才队凭借他们的主场之利给爵士队造成了巨大的麻烦，并且全队在最后两分多钟时间里爆发出惊人的能量，以95-87一举拿下爵士队。

德隆威廉姆斯已经相当出色了，但是爵士队的比赛通常犯规过多。

07-08赛季概述

我们称之为犯规大战吧！

上个赛季，他们的极差指数是西部最高的，他们在下半段的表现证明了这一点。进入季后赛第二轮之后，他们很好的遏制了势头强劲的湖人队，但是最终还是没能晋级西部决赛。

他们本来可以的，我相信—如果犯规之后没有罚球的情况下肯定可以的。在六场比赛中，科比总共有96次的罚球机会，他投中了80个。整个系列赛都是这样的。犹他的攻击力已经不错了，而且在防守端的其他方面也相当的不错，但是湖人队在罚球线上扼杀了可怜的爵士。

在六场大战中犯规的问题并不是孤立的，科比不是因为联盟想要获得收视率才获得罚球的，爵士对他的每一次犯规都是货真价实的，说实话，对其他的对手，他们也是如此。

这样的问题被无限的放大了，在上个赛季爵士队是总冠军的有力争夺者，几乎其他的每个方面都如此。犯规的弊端真的是横在他们和西部冠军之间的一条大坑。

我是说，这样的犯规是一种弊端。过去的20年内，斯隆的队伍的犯规数都是高居不下的，上个赛季，他们甚至变本加厉。在个人犯规以及对手罚球次数上，犹他爵士都是全联盟最高的，而且领先第二名不是一星半点。去年，对手的每次投篮能够赢得0.393次罚球。这简直太糟糕了，甚至比以前更坏了—比上个赛季都要多出了0.05次。

这样的代价非常的大。比起联盟的平均水平，他们更对手多送了410多分，准确的说是每场比赛5分。这个差距足以让他们拿下13场的NBA胜利。然而，如果没有这些罚球，对手也可能投篮得分，甚至命中率非常高（当防守处于不利地位的时候他们才会犯规）。就算他们投篮命中率是55%，减少犯规也可以让对手少得两分。

对于一支典型的NBA球队，这样的两分可以保住5到6场的胜利，这些胜利可以保证爵士从一个每次系列赛都要从客场开始的球队，变成西部的头号种子。

通常，爵士队为自己挖的犯规大坑很难让他们拥有总冠军级别的防守。让他们有资本追求总冠军的唯一因素是：他们在赛季下半段的进攻效率是联盟最高的。这就是爵士队为什么敢采用在每次进攻都犯规的策略（马龙斯托克顿时代就是如此）--没个赛季他们的防守都是平均水准，送了那么多罚球，你的防守不可能很好。

令人惊奇的是，个人的犯规情况没有非常的严重。犹他人似乎有独特的方法来避免他们最好的球员犯规—先发球员会规矩的防守，板凳球员就会采用疯狗式。五个先发的犯规数不算多，而他们的替补（米尔萨普，普莱斯，迈尔斯和哈特）在各自的位置上犯规数非常的多，哈普灵和科佛尔也好不到哪里去。

科佛尔，实际上是爵士队战术篮球的典型代表。在76人的两个赛季，他每36分钟只会有3.0和3.1次犯规，来到了爵士，这个数据激增到了4.2。

至少犯规有一点积极的影响：他们有机会抢下球，并且赢得身体对抗。他们在对手失误数伤排第三位，对手的每次持球他们能够造成16.7%的失误。再加上强悍的防守篮板，他们是联盟中最难打的球队了。100次控球，对手只能出手94.1次，这就是他们在防守效率排名第12位的原因。

提到科佛尔，就是这个家伙帮助一直低迷的爵士队找到了状态。开赛他们18胜17负，奥库的表现非常糟糕，他们的西北分区冠军地位甚至一度受到了威胁。那个时候，科佛尔来了—爵士队复出了吉里塞克和一个首轮选秀权，之后他们的战绩是38胜16负。

他的影响不仅仅只有他的投篮—他的三分球出手仅仅占38.8%。但是他的远程火力拉开了对方的防守，特别是奥库不在场的时候，其他的球员就有了更加充足的空间。

我已经说过了，在下半个赛季他们的防守效率是联盟第一的，在投篮命中率，两分球命中率，真实投篮命中率，罚球与投篮比例上都是联盟第二位（在罚球上，他们和防守时做的一样出色）。他们很少投三分球—他们的三分球投篮比例在全联盟倒数第四—科佛尔的命中率还是可以达到37.2%。

爵士有冠军级别的进攻，希望他们能够马上证明这一点。

最大优势：内线得分能力

这支球队就是个上篮的机器，简单但是适用。德隆已经跻身了顶级控位的行列，总是能够运球到正确的位置上，而且布泽尔，基里连科，和布鲁尔在篮筐附近的得分能力也是很强的。

而且，用NBA标准来判断的话，他们的进攻体系并不正统。他们非常依仗无球的掩护和挡人，来让适合的球员出现在适合的位置伤。这样创造了非常多的上篮以及罚球机会，特别是对于哈普灵和布鲁尔这样擅长无球进攻的队员—威廉姆斯总能够找到他们，而且，基里连科也是个不错的传球手。

在板凳上，爵士队并不处于劣势。之前我提到了哈普灵，米尔萨普在篮筐附近的效率也是很高的，替补控球后卫普莱斯，也是个不错的上篮手。他们有足够的上篮机会，所以不需要像联盟其他顶级球员一样依仗投篮。

最大劣势：内线防守

爵士队之所以频繁的把对手送上罚球线在于他们内线的防守无法保障，奥库和布泽尔在进攻端当然是很出色的，但是防守上他们的弱点就显露无疑了。奥库撑死了就是一个协助的防守者，他没有能力封盖篮筐附近的投篮，看起来布泽尔在进攻端打的非常HIGH，他没有什么精力放在防守上。

板凳上的情况也好不到哪里去，米尔萨普非常的积极，但是犯规问题严重。柯林斯也几乎没有什么作用了，进攻力的匮乏让他很难赢得更多的上场时间。他们也用哈普灵打过大前锋，但是作为一个协防者和盖帽手他的作用非常有限。

所以，我很质疑爵士队今年用他们用一个大个子换来一名高飞球员的做法，这样把基里连科顶到了大前锋上。两年之前他还是联盟顶级的盖帽手，如果回到这个位置上，他肯定能做一个好使的苍蝇拍。几年结束后他们前场的两个先发都可能进入自由市场，是该好好考虑下了。

好吧，他们几乎每次都要犯规。好消息是他们的犯规数稍微有些下降，他们的防守足够好的好，保证了以这样的进攻能够赢得比赛的胜利。我们有理由相信他们在新赛季可以作出些什么。布鲁尔可以是锋线上很好的防守者，犯规问题严重的哈普灵和柯林斯的上场时间可能会减少。我们希望斯隆能够认识到他必须做些改变了，如果这样，爵士真的就可以长进些了。

This season though, Williams missed Utah's first six games and Kirilenko has been coming off the bench, meaning guys named Ronnie Price and C.J. Miles have been starting for Jerry Sloan. Yet through those six games that Williams missed, the Jazz were still in the top eight in offensive efficiency. And, oh yeah, they were 5-1.

At every NBA game, you will find several advance scouts (employed by other teams) sitting courtside, watching the coaches call plays and charting the ensuing action on the floor. That information is passed on to the scouts' own employer. This allows defenses, upon hearing the play call, to (figuratively) cheat defensively and take away what the offense is trying to do.

The Jazz run a lot of their offense out of a one-four set, where the point guard brings the ball up, the two bigs are at the elbows, and the two wings are in line with the bigs, near the sidelines. There are plays where the first pass goes to the wings and there are plays where the first pass goes to a big.

It may sound complicated, but it's not. Knight just joined the Jazz this summer and says that he's had no problems adjusting to the system. And
most important, the system is effective. There are several reasons why:

1. The players know the system, they know to stay within the structure of the offense and they execute it.

As long as they don't freestyle, it works.
"They just can't go out on their own," adds Sloan, "because nobody has any idea of what's going on when they do that. That makes it difficult for everybody."

2. It all comes down to simple basketball logic.

"It's just making reads," Price says, "and common-sense basketball reads that you're taught to make when you're a little kid. It's just that we pretty much do it every time down the court."

3. The Jazz are constantly in motion.

This is not your typical NBA offense, heavy on isolations and screen-and-rolls. The Jazz don't play one-on-one or two-on-two. Their offense functions as a five-man unit.
"It's very different from any other offense in the NBA," Kyle Korver says. "We run a lot of motion sets, not a lot of one-on-one, a lot of screens, a lot of cutting, a lot of movement."
Williams and Boozer do run standard screen-and-rolls at times, and the Jazz do go to straight post-ups for Boozer as well, but the beauty of their offense is in the motion. And most of the cuts and screens are going toward the basket. Obviously, shots taken close to the basket are better than those taken far away.
Not surprisingly, the Jazz are No. 1 in the league in points in the paint, scoring 54.8 paint points per 100 possessions this season.

4. They have a good mix of talent.

Williams is the floor general, Boozer is the low post banger, Ronnie Brewer and Miles are athletic slashers, and Korver and Okur can burn you from outside.
"I'm not necessarily getting wide-open shot after wide-open shot," Korver says, "but I help create spacing, I keep the middle open, and that's where we're really trying to attack all the time."
"You need to have the people to space the floor for that to work, and that's where I come in."
Then there's Kirilenko, who can pretty much do anything and everything on the floor. Sloan likes to take advantage of AK's length and passing ability by putting him in the high post to feed Boozer down low. He even runs the point at times.

5. They share the ball.

Utah ranks second in the league (behind Toronto) with an assist-field goal ratio of .679, and were in the same spot (behind New Jersey) last year as well.
"For us, we have to set screens and we have to pass the ball," Boozer says. "Basically, if you're willing to set screens and pass the ball, [the system] can work for anybody."

6. The Jazz have continuity with their personnel.

The offense is intuitive, but it has to be collectively intuitive. When one player sees how the defense is playing, his teammate has to see it as well, and know how they're both going to react. So, the more time they spend together on the floor, the more efficiently their offense runs.
"We have had the luxury of keeping seven or eight core guys together for three or four years," Kirilenko says. "And of course, it makes playing a lot easier. We understand each other, because we've played together."

Most NBA teams like to use their defense to get their offense going when they're struggling. The Jazz may be the one team that uses their offense to get their defense going.

On Tuesday, Utah let the Sixers get back into the game by scoring just 14 points in the third quarter. And while the Jazz outplayed the Sixers on both ends of the floor to take back control early in the fourth, Sloan says it started with the offense.

"Our second group came in and executed our offense, and then we were able to defend them better."

Utah's defense is the variable, and will determine their success this season. Last year, they ranked 12th defensively, allowing 108.1 points per 100 possessions. This season, they rank fourth (99.8), meaning their D is ahead of their offense at this point.

With Williams returning and Okur coming back eventually, the offense will certainly catch up. They've got the talent, and they've certainly got a time-tested system.

"Over the years," Price says, "it's proven to be an efficient offense and the Jazz have always been a high field-goal percentage team. It's been around since Stockton and Malone, and even before them.

"Statistics don't lie. It works."

又输了，又失利了 。。。。好害怕Williams......but Harpring 回家了 ，三大名将没坐镇就连鱼腩队都。。。。唉。。。。
失误次数比助攻还要高，犯规更糟糕。
