Liverpool Defender Andrea Dossena Desperate For Napoli Move – Agent
Liverpool full-back Andrea Dossena is eager to leave Anfield and return to Italy after a single season in the Premier League and his agent has indicated that a transfer to Napoli is a distinct possibility.
Varying figures are circulating in the papers over the reported bid tabled by the Partenopei, and the player’s representative has now moved to dissipate doubts.
“Their offer is of 5 million plus bonuses - the clubs are in negotiations and we are awaiting news,” agent Federico Pastorello told TuttoNapoli.net.
“The player is currently in Singapore with Liverpool and he is also awaiting news. Although he loves being at a great club like Liverpool, he would welcome the opportunity to join Napoli with great enthusiasm.”
But would Napoli’s policy of forcing all their players to give up image rights stand in the way of a potential agreement?
“Not at all,” insisted Pastorello. “We are very keen to find an agreement. Napoli know how much he earns, which is less than 2m, but first the two clubs have to strike a deal.”

Breaking News: Liverpool & Napoli Have Agreed Transfer Fee For Andrea Dossena
According to Sky Sports 24, Premier League giants Liverpool have come to an agreement with Italian side Napoli over the transfer fee of Andrea Dossena.
The left-back has struggled since his 8 million move to Anfield, but having had a successful two-year spell with Udinese in years past, Dossena will hope that a move back to Serie A will rescue his career.
For an estimated fee of 4.5 million, the 27-year-old is tipped to make the switch in the very near future - all that remains pending is the agreement of personal terms with the player himself.
However, with the arrival of Glen Johnson at Liverpool and the defender's own admission that he would love to move back to the Italian top-flight, Dossena's impending move is expected to be carried out swiftly.
