积极转型纯种植．嘉隆扩大地库

（吉隆坡2日讯）嘉隆发展（TDM,2054,主板种植组）积极扩展种植地库，并宣布“10送1”红股计划，却不足以改善深受由盈转亏打击的市场情绪。

截至去年12月31日止，该公司第四季净亏2168万5000令吉，远逊前期的5341万1000令吉净利，全年净利则急挫69.72%至2147万4000令吉。

嘉隆发展建议从股票溢价户头中融资，以10送1比例派送最多1亿5054万6238股红股。

早前嘉隆发展计划收购登州政府子公司42.64%权益，持有权从19.12%增至61.76%，位于登州种植地库面积，将由3万1848公顷增至4万3315公顷。

不包括新收购的种植地库，该公司在大马及印尼共有6万英亩种植地库。种植业务贡献该公司80%的营业额，余下20%营业额贡献则来自医疗保健领域。

该公司管理层曾表示，有意将医疗业务分拆上市，藉以释放价值，并成为纯种植业者，并期望在3至5年内，转型至纯种植业者。

Description	TDM BERHAD-PROPOSED FIRST AND FINAL DIVIDEND
The Board of TDM Berhad is pleased to propose a first and final dividend of 0.50 sen per share, tax exempt under the single-tier system in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2016, subject to the shareholders' approval at the forthcoming 52nd Annual General Meeting. The board of Directors have also determined that the TDM’s Dividend Reinvestment Scheme (“DRS”) will apply to the entire dividend, whereby the shareholders will be given the option to elect to reinvest the whole or part of the dividend into new ordinary shares of TDM. The listing of and quotation for the new ordinary shares of TDM to be issued pursuant to the DRS will be subject to the approval of Bursa Securities being obtained, to which an application will be submitted in due course. The decision of Bursa Securities and the Book Closure Date will be announced by TDM at a later date. This announcement is dated 5 April 2017

Description	DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT SCHEME ("DRS") ON THE FIRST AND FINAL DIVIDEND IN RESPECT OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2016
We refer to the announcements dated 19 May 2017 and 26 May 2017 in relation to the DRS (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise stated, the definitions used herein shall have the same meanings as set out in the Announcements. On behalf of TDM, CIMB wishes to announce that the issue price of the new Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS, which is applicable to the entire Final Dividend (0.50 sen per Share in respect of the financial year ended 31 December 2016), has been fixed today (“Price Fixing Date”) at RM0.59 per new Share (“Issue Price”). The Issue Price represents a discount of RM0.0655 or approximately 9.92% to the theoretical ex-dividend volume weighted average market price (“VWAMP”) of approximately RM0.6550, which was arrived at after taking into consideration the 5-day VWAMP up to and including 9 June 2017, being the last trading day prior to the Price Fixing Date, of approximately RM0.6600 per Share and the Final Dividend. The entitlement date pursuant to the Final Dividend has been fixed on 3 July 2017. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRS will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 2 August 2017. This announcement is dated 13 June 2017.

（吉隆坡4日讯）嘉隆发展（TDM，2054，主板种植股）冀望2022年，市值可达20亿令吉，晋升成为马股百大市值上市公司。

目前，嘉隆发展的市值为10亿190万令吉。

董事经理拿督莫哈末慕达日前在州务大臣的开斋节庆典上说：“专注在种植和医疗领域的嘉隆发展，也放眼在未来5年内，取得2亿令吉盈利，及派息1亿令吉。”

为了实现目标，嘉隆发展需着手拓展种植业务，也已申请了政府的土地发展项目，这将造福于民和创造近1000个就业机会。

着重提升效率

此外，该公司计划提高效率，以管理种植和医疗业务。

至今，嘉隆发展在登嘉楼拥有12个油棕种植地，而在印度加里曼丹有一片面积达3万公顷的种植地，其中1万3000公顷是油棕种植地。

“我们正在改善种植管理效率，通过聘雇富有经验者，管理加里曼丹的种植地。”

该公司也在登嘉楼、关丹和雪兰莪，拥有4家医院，而位于登嘉楼的新医院，将在9月营运，建设成本为1亿令吉，共130张病床。

“我们正等待卫生部的营运批准，希望可在1个月内获批。”

为了提升管理效率，该公司也积极提出转型计划，以加强雇员技巧，确保雇员具备高效的管理技巧，以利于公司、股东和社会。

（吉隆坡31日讯）归咎1050万令吉未实现外汇亏损，嘉隆发展（TDM，2054，主板种植组）截至2017年6月30日次季由盈转亏，从前期的2263万令吉盈利转亏514万2000令吉，拖累首半年净利跌12.16%至1734万令吉。

该公司次季营业额走低3.24%至9971万7000令吉，其中棕油价走高7%至每公吨2850令吉，然而受棕仁油走低6%至2076令吉抵销；两种油产量增长4%至1万9097公吨和4813公吨，销量却因开斋节而走低。

种植业受高融资成本、大马翻种成本，印尼种植业则受未实现外汇亏损，导致次季税前亏损580万，前期税前盈利2090万令吉。保健业病黎人数挫5%，促使营收跌3%至4320万，税前盈利跌31.6%至130万令吉。

该公司文告说，截至首半年营运现金流增113%至6010万，银行储备半年内增长12.7%至1亿3770万令吉，总贷款减1.8%至8.098亿令吉。

展望未来，该集团董事经理拿督莫哈末慕达表示公司致力棕油可持续生产准则以获更高溢价，可改善棕油、保健业成本效益，长远为公司带来利益。

该公司今日宣布，60岁的登州秘书长拿督旺纳瓦威，受委嘉隆发展非独立非执行主席。
