Responsibilities:
• Responsible to provide scientific input for nutritional communication.
• Responsible for the execution of product training across a specific region in a timely manner. The product trainings includes but not limited to Health and Wellness Talk, Nutrition Workshop, Train the Trainer Training, Graduation Ceremony, Health and Wellness Fair, Health Consultation, Distributors Training, Shaklee Monthly Sharing, Quarterly Business Meeting, New Distributor Training and Online Telegram Training.
• Engage with distributors and customers on a daily basis, continually working to build strong relationships and identify new advocates.
• Provide technical support to front liners (ie: business development manager, customer service, communication executive) who handle customer inquirers.
• Responsible to drive consumer taste preference research for new product development.
• Involve in marketing, promotional and business development activities of the company including CSR program, leadership development program, rank recognition, national convention and company incentive trip. Report market feedback to the management for continuous improvement.
• Provide nutritional input for product innovation and renovation.
Become an expert of the company products through both formal and self-training
Requirements:
• Degree in Food Technology/Nutrition/Food Science/ Dietetics/ Biotechnology/ BioChem / BioMedical or related discipline.
• Preferably with some work experience in the related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in related health and nutrition industry.
• Deep good understanding on products and nutrition, and demonstrates a good presentation and consultation skills.
• Pleasant personally, good communication, consultation, interpersonal skill.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel extensively.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power Point.

Job Description:
Rapid developments of radiofrequency technologies have brought about a big leap in the advancement of tag antenna design. As a key part of the radio-frequency identification (RFID) system, tag antenna has received much attention because it can affect the system performance significantly. Since a tag is usually attached to an object, its antenna size must be made compact enough. Modern RFID tag antennas are required to be compact and useable in complex environment. Designing a tag antenna involves tradeoffs between impedance matching, antenna gain and circuit size. So, optimization is always a must. The aim of this project is to design and optimize near-field and far-field RFID tag antennas using various optimization algorithms. Design of Experiments (DOE), Neural Network (NN) and Genetic Algorithm (GA) will be explored for establishing the simulation models for designing the RFID tag antennas. With the use of numerical results generated by electromagnetic solver, the models will be used for estimating changes in performances of a tag antenna statiscally.

A joint research project entitled Energy-Efficient Optimization for Multiuser Video Transmission over Wireless between Laboratoire de Traitement et Transport de l’Information, Universite Paris 13 and Center for Communication Systems & Networks, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman is looking for a PhD candidate. The aim of this PhD research is to maximize the energy efficiency of coded video transmission over next generation wireless networks.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Master’s degree in Electronics/Telecommunications engineering or related field. Candidate with Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science will be considered as well.
- Background knowledge or prior experience in digital video compression and digital communications.
- Excellent command of English.
- Independent and self-motivated.

Job Description:
Sound can be defined as the variation or fluctuation of air pressure in the air. Depending on the medium where sound travels, the compressed and expanded air pressure causes molecules in the medium to vibrate back and forth to generate a wave that is capable of transferring sound energy. When a sound hits an object, it causes small vibrations on the object’s surface.
This research intends to recover sound that produces these vibrations on the surface of an object by means of a video footage of the object of interest. The project will develop an algorithm based on the Eulerian phase-based approach to convert the small changes in motion and colour in videos which is hard to be perceived by the human naked eye or also known as subtle vibrations, to recover sound. With this new remote sound acquisition technique, many of the objects in normal surroundings can be turned into “visual” microphones as long as the audio signal is strong enough to generate the subtle vibrations on the object of interest.
One of the motivations that inspire this research is to improve existing surveillance system and eventually reducing the crime rate. Most existing closed-circuit televisions (CCTVs), especially the ones installed outdoor, only provide video monitoring without any audio signal. This opens up the opportunity for the developed algorithm to recover sound through imagery, where it gives users the ability to recover sound when necessary despite not having any audio input. The algorithm can provide an added value to the surveillance system as it can be easily implemented on the existing systems without any additional hardware thus providing another alternative in sound recording/recovering which is not possible previously. Besides the ease of implementation on the existing systems, it promotes flexibility in the method such that the audio can be recovered only when desired and reduces the need of storage as a prerequisite when compared to the conventional built-in microphone.
The candidate is required:
- To improve a robust algorithm that is capable of converting vibrations to audible sound (codes will be provided)
- To recover sound from a few objects of interest using the improved algorithm.
- To study factors that can affect the quality of the recovered sound
