I’m not able         to getting some information in the QL’s annual report. So, I hope that         QL can untie my enquiries.
         

         

         Enquiries:

         1) On the         poultry farm, beside chickens used to produce eggs, are chickens will be         used for processing others food products?.
        OLD Layers are         sold. No further processing to other products.
        

         

         

         2] On an         inventory turnover problem. From the 2007 annual report, inventories are         RM120, 139,000, and the cost of sales are RM956, 388,000.So, should I         calculate on this way?
         

         RM956, 388,000         / RM120, 139,000 = 7.96
         

         Every year the         number of working capital is 7.96.
         

         365 days / 796         = 45.8 days
         

         The results of         such an average of 45.8 days turnaround time.
         CORRECT.
         Eggs and fish products         can be stored for a long time? The company's stock in the end what the         majority ?
        Majority of stocks are         animal feed raw materials such as corn & soyabean         meal.
         This is my QL         problem. I hope you can help answer some. Here Thank you for your help,         I hope QL continue to create value for         shareholders.

  We are   basically distributes animal feed raw materials such as corn and soyabean meal   to poultry farms who then mix their own feed using
  their   own feed formulation.
  
  We have   our own feedmill plant in Tawau but it is basically for our own use. We sell   about 10% of these feed to surrounding farmers.

欧盟严禁我国海产　德建资源缩小经营规模
二零零八年七月四日 晚上六时四十一分

（槟城4日讯）由于受到欧盟严禁我国海产的影响，德建资源（TEXCHEM，8702，主板贸易服务组）的附属公司SEA PACK已于月前缩小规模，从原有的300名职员，缩减至80人。至于另一间同为以海产业为主的子公司SEA MASTER则不受影响，保持原状。

德建资源公司也是国内主要交易板的上市公司。首席执行员丹斯里小西史彦认为，尽管大马政府已和欧盟展开磋商，但预料必须耗上至少6个月时间方有所结果。

他透露，欧盟的这项禁令，已使到SEA PACK过去每月出口的冷冻海产品下降了70%至200公吨，造成该公司必须面对300万令吉的亏损。

他是今日出席在商贸酒店举行的股东大会后，如是指出。

他说，出口至欧盟市场的海产业，在德建资源公司食品工业中占了20%的收入贡献。而SEA PACK海产食品中的70%则是出口至欧盟国家。

虽然面对欧盟的海产禁令拦路，但这并未对该公司的生产带来影响，为减轻冲击，该公司已准备把SEA PACK的海产食品，打入大马市场及转输往东南亚邻近国家。至于SEA MASTER的海产则会出口至中国、日本、韩国和台湾。

他说，单是中国和日本的海产市场，已比欧盟来得庞大。因此，该公司今年仍然会如期拨出1500万令吉，投入予属下公司的食品工业，以提升生产。
