尽管海外如印尼与越南的业务大有增长，不过切被原料成本高企不下和外汇方面的蚀食下，公司表现稍微不大理想。这造成CIMB研究报告中把此股的原本目标价从RM1.28调低至RM1.13，但保持给予买进的评价。
研究员也认为公司未来发展有赖于公司是否可以成功地把成本转嫁给客户，新产品推出，有利的对换率及手握大量现金可能带来的收购活动所影响。
Results highlights
• A weedy performance.
Imaspro’s 9MFY6/11 net profit of RM6.0m was below expectations as it made up only 61% of our full-year forecast. The variance stemmed mainly from margin contraction and strengthening of the ringgit. As
expected, no dividend was declared for the quarter. The 3Q results letdown triggers a 10-20% downgrade of our FY11-13 EPS numbers. Post revisions, our target price is cut from RM1.28 to RM1.13, still pegged to 8.7x CY12 P/E based on a 40% discount to our target market P/E of 14.5x. Even after our earnings downgrade, we
are looking at healthy earnings growth of 16-21% for FY12-13. We, therefore, reiterate our BUY call, with the potential catalysts being 1) margin recovery, 2) new product launches, 3) more favourable exchange rate, and 4) a rising cash pile which could mean higher dividends or M&As.
• Stronger revenue offset by lower margin.
3Q revenue rose 5.0% yoy, thanks to stronger export sales. Imaspro’s advertising and promotional activities are bearing fruit as exports to Indonesia and Vietnam picked up strongly in 3Q. Margins, however, were weaker due to higher prices for raw materials such as glyphosate and chlorpyriphos. But we think this is likely to be temporary as there is typically a 2-3 month lag before the cost pass-through mechanism takes effect. Compared to 1H,
3Q EBIT margin fell 5.6% pts to 7.9% (1H: 13.5% vs. our previous FY11 forecast of 15.1%). On the exchange rate front, our economic research team expects the US$ to strengthen to RM3.08 at year’s end, which bodes well for the company.
• Higher dividends or M&As in the pipeline?
Imaspro is sitting on a cash hoard of RM26.8m, which works out to RM0.34 per share or 37% of the share price. We think that the company is in a good position to go after assets or undertake more capital management initiatives. |

CIMB Research maintains Trading Buy on Imaspro Corp

KUALA LUMPUR: CIMB Equities Research said agrochemical and pesticide manufacturer, Imaspro Corp’s FY6/11 net profit was in line at just 1% above its forecast.
It said on Friday, Aug 26 the stronger sales mitigated the weaker margins and strengthening of the ringgit.
Consistent with the previous year, Imaspro did not declare a final dividend.
“We fine-tune our FY12-13 EPS numbers by -1% to +0.3% as we update the balance sheet items. Due to the minimal earnings change, our target price remains at RM1.13, still pegged to 8.7 times CY12 P/E, which is a 40% discount to our target market P/E of 14.5 times,” it said.
CIMB Research said it was still looking at healthy earnings growth of 8-18% for FY12-14. The stock remains a BUY.
“Potential re-rating catalysts are i) new product launches, 2) margin recovery, and 3) rising cash pile which could mean higher dividends or M&As,” it said. |
