Our Crane Services business is carried out by 100%-owned Daya Proffscorp Sdn Bhd ("DPROF"). The company is principally engaged in ownership and hiring of forklifts, cranes and heavy machineries and related manpower services in the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry. The company presently owns 32 mobile cranes of various brands and sizes, ranging from a 20-ton Tadano to a 400-ton Liebherr. It also owns approximately 22 forklifts and an assortment of ancillary lifting equipment and motor vehicles. In order to provide a complete material handling solution to its clients, the company employs a team of more than 130 technicians, mechanics, crane operators, supervisors and administrative personnel.
As a Petronas-licensed service provider, DPROF offers a wide range of material lifting and handling services in Peninsular Malaysia to Petronas group of companies as well as a sizeable number of major corporations in the oil & gas and petrochemical industries. Among its main customers are BASF Petronas Chemical Sdn Bhd, Ethylene Sdn Bhd, BP Petronas Acetyls Sdn Bhd, MTBE Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Optimal Chemicals (M) Sdn Bhd, Petronas Gas Bhd, Petlin Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Vinyl Chlorides (M) Sdn Bhd, Carigali Hess Operating Company Sdn Bhd, Talisman Malaysia Sdn Bhd and etc. It also counts non oil & gas companies such as Lembaga Pelabuhan Kemaman, Kuantan Port Consortium as its major clients. The company's operations are housed in a 5-acre site in Teluk Kalong, Kemaman, Terengganu where it maintains its workshop and machining facilities as well as a warehouse for engines and spares parts.
Since its inception some 20 years ago, DPROF is undoubtedly the largest crane service operators of its kind in Malaysia. |
