Contents : Kimble Corporation Berhad (“the Company”) hereby announces that Valspar Corporation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, the Petitioner had served on the Company a winding-up petition under Section 218 of the Companies Act, 1965, based on the advertisement of the winding-up petition appeared in the New Straits Times dated 15 September 2008.

The Petitioner is claiming for an outstanding amount indebted by the wholly-owned subsidiary, Kimble Furniture Corporation (M) Sdn Bhd (“KFCM”) for lacquer products supplied. The filing of the winding-up petition arose from the failure of KFCM to settle the outstanding amount to the Petitioner. The amount of indebtedness has been fully provided for in the accounts for the financial year ended 31 December 2007. The expected losses arising from the winding-up petition would include legal cost and other charges incidental to the winding-up notice. The application for petition to wind up KFCM, if successful, would have material and adverse impact on the financial and operational status of KFCM and Kimble Corporation Berhad’s Group. KFCM is the main operating entity in Kimble's Group, any succesful winding up proceeding will affect the Group's ability to continue operations and be affected substantially.

KFCM is a major subsidiary of the Company and the total cost of investment in KFCM is RM41,180,000.00.

The Company will seek legal advice and enter with appearance within the prescribed date.


This announcement is dated 15 September 2008.

有沒有下市，只看證券所是否讓它停牌，而且它開進入 PN 17，所以還有8個月間可以讓它重組，所以現在是不會下市的。

anouncement只不過是那些公司快要死的最後留言話，有時就會講有人加入公司，有人出資金，有人要收購等等一些，有些只是要回答證券所的方面而做出來的。

這種股特別破產股讓散方喜愛的股票，不防買100粒，也不過 RM 3000 賺錢虧錢你自已負責

对。通常这种股票在下市之前会来个终级一抄的。。。买卖自负。

最近我一直在想，為何證券會會給PN17， 8個月時間，那麼在8個月時間，證券會還能從它們PN 17公司所交易的方面得到一些利益。

所以停市會在6個月後
