[现在分词/present participle]和[过去分词/past participle]

两个分词除了和[辅助动词/auxiliary verb]如 be, have 配合表达时态之外，
另一个功用就是当[形容词/adjective]使用：

[现在分词/present participle] 有“令人感到...”的含义：
exciting = 令人感到兴奋的
interesting = 令人感到有趣的
embarrassing = 令人感到难堪的
boring = 令人感到乏味的
touching = 令人感动的
annoying = 令人感到厌烦的
disgusting = 令人感到厌恶的

[过去分词/past participle] 有“觉得/感到...”的含义：
excited = 感到兴奋
interested = 感兴趣
embarrassed = 感到难堪
bored = 感到乏味
touched = 感动
annoyed = 感到厌烦
disgusted = 感到厌恶

例子(Cambridge):
I'm totally disgusted with your behaviour.  感到厌恶
It is embarrassing to be caught telling a lie.  令人感到难堪的
She's got some very interesting things to say on the subject.  令人感兴趣的
An excited crowd waited for the singer to arrive.  感到兴奋的群众

this evening at seven 改为 at seven this evening 正确
“this evening at seven” 相等于中文的 “七点钟今晚”

正确。 congratulations 有s

(4) It is safer to drink boiled water than tap water.
正确。 boiling water 是在沸腾的水，似乎不是那么安全。

(5) Obama says he has not succeeded bringing the country together.
不完整...

(6) After dinner, Tom suggested going for a walk along the sea.
正确。 suggest 不接 [不定式动词/to infinitive]

(7) Barky is a beautiful white dog.
正确。 我的问题： 为什么？

(8) Mr Tan looked angrily at us because we had broken his window.
正确。 looked angrily : [动词]+[副词]；    had broken ： （过去）打破了

SV (Place/where?)（Purpose/why?) (Time/when?)

(7) 根据word order
your opinion about something (beautiful)应该在colour (white)的前面

对。补充一下，基本的逻辑是：
比较主观的形容词通常放在比较客观的形容词之前...
美丽与否，不同的人有不同的判断: 主观
白色，每个人都有一致的判断：客观

我们通常看到的都是 xxx and I ...
但有一种说法是：
“xxx and I...” 不是比 “I and xxx...” 更为正确，只是比较有礼貌


还是连are meeting也错了?
Sam and I are meeting for dinner at seven this evening.

“are meeting” 没有错误
这是未来式的一种：
用[现在进行时态/present continuous tense]来表达未来的一个动作：
有“一切都安排好了”的含义
Sam and I are meeting for dinner at seven this evening.
Sam 和我双方都已经安排好了见面的时间，地点和目的

[现在进行时态/present continuous tense]+[未来时间/future time]
I am playing tennis with Tom this afternoon.
一切都安排好了：时间场所都决定了，球场也订了...
We are visiting our grandparents next week.
一切都安排好了：已通知公公婆婆了，行程安排好了，车票或机票也买了...
