对，上面已经给答案了，你应该是漏掉了....

Welcome to Taiwan! 这里的 welcome 是[感叹词/interjection]，不是动词，所以不能有[宾语/object]

但 welcome 也可以是[及物动词]，可以有[宾语/object]:
Longman:
I must be there to welcome my guests.                                       
They welcomed us warmly.
His family welcomed me with open arms (=in a very friendly way).

各位達人可否幫胖龜確認文法的部份呢

短語部份

what day of the week (最短的"星期幾"英文應該怎麼表達)

句子部份

The train was late about an hour. => The train was about an hour late. 通常是这么讲。

It has been late for an hour.
我们说: I was late for school. 上学迟到...
但...for an hour 是一段时间....
持续迟到一个小时？感觉很怪，应该不正确，等我把其中的逻辑搞清楚了才来解释...
这个很好...可以让我们进一步去思考...

暂时先比较+思考这个：
It has been late for an hour. Q: How long has it been late? ...怪
It is an hour late. Q: How late is it?


2. Why did you say that?
正确。

别忘了， say 是[及物动词]，需要[宾语] that
比较：
talk 是[不及物动词]，所以我们可以说：
Don't talk like that.   (talk) (like that) : [verb intransitive]+[adverbial/manner]

4. 想问下为什么不能用This is...
应该没有错，我是说，That is 也可以。

5. He treated me in a very friendly way.
正确。

friendly 看起来好像是[副词/adverb]，其实只是[形容词/adjective]
所以不可以说 treated me friendly : [动词/verb][宾语/object][形容词/adjective]
in a friendly way : 完全正确...棒！

6. Is there enough space for me in the car?
Is there enough room for me in the car?

7. He is not old enough to get a driving licence.
对。

注： 驾驶执照：
英国： driving licence
美国： driver's license
澳洲： driver's licence
大马： driving lesen

8. I don't think it's going to rain tomorrow.有错吗?
意思改变了....
不过...懂得改为 I don't think...
这才是英语的习惯讲法...棒！


It is going to rain 和 It will rain 的分别：

It will rain.
是预测未来将会下雨，例如看了电视的天气报告之后，你说：
It will rain tomorrow.

It is going to rain.
是根据某些迹象，例如乌云，雷声，你知道接着就快下雨了，你说：
It's going to rain soon.

对不起，搞错了一题：

(9) Our house was struck by thunder last night.
这一句不正确....

只有 lightning/闪电 才会劈到屋子，thunder/雷声 是不会劈人的
Our house was struck by lightning last night. ......（这招够奸诈吧？ ）

中文我们说“天打雷劈”， 如此看来，雷就是闪电，而雷和雷声是不一样的。
雷是 lightning，而雷声是 thunder.

不是很长啊...真的要短的话...
two days ago/later ......但意思不一样

what day of the week (最短的"星期幾"英文應該怎麼表達)
要短的话就把 of the week 省略：
What day is today?

自动铅笔：
英式英语： propelling pencil
美式英语： mechanical pencil

washer closet 应该是指那种放洗衣机的橱。

有 lunchtime，lunch hour, dinnertime

但最大的赢家还是麦当劳叔叔，得到了最佳的宣传效果....
