Inter Milan, which is coached by former Chelsea manager JoseMourinho, was rumoured to be his most likely destination, but Lampardhas decided to extend his seven-year stay with the Blues.
"I've just turned 30 and I see it as my final big contract and I will play out my days at Chelsea," Lampard said.
Chelsea had reportedly offered Lampard a four-year contract, with the player holding out for a longer deal.
Ivanovic Move Depends On Milan And Chelsea - Agent
The San Siro-based club have been eyeing the stopper who is no longer a part of Luis Felipe Scolari’s plans.
Ivanovic has not even made his debut for Chelsea since signing for them in January. The 24-year-old is looking for a quick exit and Milan are pushing the move through according to the agent.
“We can’t do anymore, it’s now down to both clubs. The player has already agreed to move,” Borozan told Tuttomecatoweb.
“Ivanovic spoke with his side a few days ago and they agreed he could move.
“Now it’s down to the clubs. The player tried to leave in the past but he wasn’t able to. Now Milan have come in to help him.
“I cannot say more than this.”
The Rossoneri are trying hard to wrap up a deal for the Russian defender as they attempt to fill the gaps in their back line.
Alessandro Nesta’s injury has forced the Rossoneri back onto the market and Ivanovic will be his cover.
