Wade's 20-footer bounced off the rim and through the basket at the buzzer Saturday night, giving the Miami Heat a 104-102 win over the Utah Jazz. The Heat wasted a 16-point second-half lead and trailed in the final minute, before Wade - who also hit a buzzer-beating winner against the Jazz in Miami on Nov. 19, 2004 - came through with the top highlight of Miami's thus-dismal season. "I was just trying to be aggressive and got a shot,'' said Wade, who finished with 20 points. "It's big. It's big because we'd lost four of our last five games. This is a very good team and this shows the toughness of the team. We can build from here.'' Shaquille O'Neal finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds, and Daequan Cook had 15 points, including a crucial 3-pointer with 28.2 seconds left. Deron Williams scored 22 points, Andrei Kirilenko had 21 and C.J. Miles scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth for Utah, which took its only lead of the second half on a pair of free throws by Matt Harpring with 46.3 seconds remaining. But Wade set up Cook for a 3-pointer to put Miami back on top and, after Carlos Boozer tied it with a jumper, the 2006 NBA finals MVP came through with the winner.

Utah 99, Dallas 90 SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 26 (AP) -- Carlos Boozer scored 21 points, including six of Utah's last seven, and the Jazz held off the Dallas Mavericks 99-90 on Wednesday night. Although he was hampered by foul trouble, Boozer finished strong for the Jazz, who had been struggling in the closing moments of games in the past few weeks. Boozer shot 8-of-13 and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Jazz to their third win in the last 12 games. Andrei Kirilenko and Deron Williams had 17 points apiece as the Jazz improved to 10-2 at home. The Jazz led by 10 points in the fourth quarter before Devean George made back-to-back 3-pointers. The Jazz, bolstered by steals by Kirilenko and Ronnie Brewer, then held the Mavericks scoreless for almost 4 minutes. Dallas stayed close with 3-pointers until Boozer made a mid-range jumper and a dunk that put Utah ahead 97-89 with 1:28 to play. Dirk Nowitzki had 20 points for Dallas but made just 3-of-10 from 3-point range as the Mavericks abandoned any attempt at an inside game in the fourth quarter. Devin Harris and Josh Howard each had 17 points for the Mavericks, who had their five-game winning streak snapped.

只能够说，12月很多客场比赛，加上爵士很多时候都是在最后关头"tayar pong-cek"。。。  接下来主场比赛较多，希望爵士能好好把握，重新挤入西部8强

候补克罗地亚射手Giricek和老教头sloan终于达成共识。两人对一个礼拜前的冲突封口不提。Gordan Giricek即将归队！

不过。。。  另一个候补射手C J Miles这几个礼拜把握上场机会，表现不错，尤其是三分球大有斩获。。。  看来Giricek的上场时间也不会太多

Posted: 11:48 AM- The Jazz reinstated Gordan Giricek on Thursday after a meeting with coach Jerry Sloan and general manager Kevin O'Connor.
    The decision came eight days after Giricek was sent home from the Jazz's road trip after having open argument with Sloan.
    As uneasy as their relationship has been in recent seasons, Giricek and Sloan at least agreed on their talking points. Both said repeatedly that they were moving forward and neither would talk in even generalities about the meeting.
    "I'm back with the team, traveling with the team and we're moving forward," Giricek said. "That's it. Nothing to look at [in]the past, right?"
    "We're just going forward," Sloan said. "Gira's back on the team. We're just headed forward with that."
    Giricek was absent from three games and said he stayed in Salt Lake City. He celebrated Christmas, visited family, worked out occasionally and watched the Jazz's victory over Dallas on Wednesday night.
    "I was just waiting to see what happens, right?" Giricek said. "I couldn't get away from the situation. I was waiting to see what's going to happen. I'm back on the team. I didn't try to put much pressure on myself, like always, right?"

Lakers 123, Utah 109 LOS ANGELES, Dec. 28 (AP) -- Phil Jackson pulled even with Red Auerbach in regular-season victories, 5 1/2 seasons after tying the Boston Celtics coach for the most NBA championships won. Kobe Bryant had 31 points and seven assists before sitting out the fourth quarter and the Lakers beat the Utah Jazz 123-109 Friday night, giving Jackson his 938th career win and a share of seventh place on the career list. As fate would have it, Jackson will get a chance to pass Auerbach when the Lakers host the Celtics on Sunday night in the 177th regular-season meeting of the NBA's greatest rivalry. They've faced each other 10 times in the finals, with Boston winning the first eight and the Lakers prevailing in 1985 and 1987. Jackson, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame on Sept. 7, has won nine league titles as a coach. Three of them came with the Lakers and the other six with the Chicago Bulls - who won 72 games with Jackson at the helm in 1995-96. Carlos Boozer led Utah with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Reserve guard Gordan Giricek, banished to the locker room by coach Jerry Sloan during a timeout in the second quarter of Utah's 98-92 loss at Charlotte on Dec. 19, rejoined his teammates after spending the last three games back in Salt Lake City. He spent the entire game on the bench. The Lakers enjoyed their highest-scoring first half of the season, taking a 75-48 lead with 21 points from Bryant and 13 by Lamar Odom. Andrew Bynum scored eight points in the first 6:20 - including a pair of alley-oop dunks set up by Bryant and Derek Fisher - but went to the bench less than a minute later after picking up his second foul.

Pierce had no points and no rebounds in 19 minutes, 33 seconds, essentially leaving the Boston Celtics without one third of their "Big Three.'' Pierce woke up at halftime and led the Celtics to their fifth straight victory, beating the Utah Jazz 104-98 Saturday night. "I was really mad at myself at the half,'' said Pierce, who scored all of his 24 points in the second half. "I knew I was going to come out more aggressive at both ends of the court. That's what I tried to do.'' Pierce finished with six rebounds - also all in the second half - including a crucial one that helped seal the Celtics' 14th win in their last 15 games. Pierce had just broken a tie on a layup with 28 seconds left to play. Utah's C.J. Miles tried to put Utah back up with a 3-pointer, but the ball bounced high off the rim and Pierce was able to grab it, draw a foul and seal it for the Celtics with two free throws. Ray Allen scored 23 and Kevin Garnett added 15 points and nine rebounds for the Celtics, who complete a four-game road trip Sunday at the Lakers. The NBA's best team is looking at sweeping a cross-country trip. "In my years past, we always talked about going .500. Being able to go .500 was a successful road trip,'' Allen said. "We're ahead of the curve here.'' Ahead of the curve? The Celtics are blowing the curve for the rest of the league. At 25-3, Boston is starting to approach some of the best teams in NBA history.

SALT LAKE CITY (December 29, 2007) – Utah Jazz general manager Kevin O’Connor announced today that the team has acquired forward Kyle Korver from the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for guard Gordan Giricek and a protected first-round pick. “We made a trade which we feel improves our team this year,” said general manager Kevin O’Connor. Currently in his fifth NBA season, Korver (6-7, 210, Creighton) has appeared in 337 regular season games, all with Philadelphia, and owns career averages of 10.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists while hitting .409 from three-point range. He appeared in 25 games this season for the 76ers, averaging 10.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 26.3 minutes. Korver holds the 76ers franchise record for three-pointers made in a season (226 in 2004-05) and owns three of the franchise’s top-10 single-season marks for three-point accuracy. Korver also ranks second on the team’s career list for three-pointers made (661) and has twice been selected to participate in the NBA All-Star Weekend Three-Point Shootout.
