（吉隆坡5日讯）石油贸易与燃油补给公司海峡物流（Straits Inter Logistics Bhd）建议将业务多元化至陆路运输和物流，以满足现有客户对这类服务日益增长的需求。
该集团今日向大马交易所报备，董事部预计，陆运业务可能在未来财政年占净利的四分之一以上。
该集团于8月30日成立了一家子公司Straits Alliance Transport私人有限公司，主要使用卡车和罗里提供陆运和物流。
尽管石油贸易和燃油补给服务在过去两年推动营业额和盈利，但海峡物流认为，向现有的客户提供额外运输服务可提高竞争力，因可提供陆路和岸外物流服务。
该集团将召开股东特别大会（EGM），以寻求股东批转多元化计划。
除非出现任何不可预见的情况，并获得所有必要的批准，多元化计划预计在2019年首季完成。
