PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF CASINO BUSINESSES IN THE UNITED KINGDOM FROM GENTING SINGAPORE PLC

Announcement Details :
(The definitions used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those used in our announcement dated 1 July 2010 (“Initial Announcement”) unless stated otherwise.)
We refer to the Initial Announcement and the circular to shareholders dated 9 August 2010, both in relation to the above.
On behalf of GENM’s Board of Directors, we wish to announce that the Acquiree Group’s net debt position as at 20 June 2010 was £74.4 million as ascertained by the auditors on 20 September 2010. This represents a reduction of £11.5 million from the net debt amount of £85.9 million as at 31 May 2010 (“Net Debt Difference”). In accordance with the terms of the SPA, the Purchase Consideration will be revised by the Net Debt Difference from £340.0 million to £351.5 million to reflect the reduction in net debt.
In addition to the above, GENM had on 20 September 2010 obtained the relevant approval from the British Gambling Commission for the Proposed Acquisition.
This announcement is dated 21 September 2010. |

雲頂（GENTING，3182，主要板貿易）計劃往美國尋找商機。
雲頂集團策略投資與企業事務部總監梁銘隆指出，美國將是雲頂下一個賭場投資據點，但公司未決定在那一個地區進行投資。
“當然，除了美國，公司也將其他區域國家，列入投資考量據點。”
他指出，對本地今年的業務發展則抱持謹慎樂觀態度，但也會積極尋找其他發展機會。
雲頂計劃朝全球化發展，目前在多個國家均有投資項目，目前的業務範圍包括菲律賓、新加坡以及英國。
“公司在印尼也有種植業務，在中國與印尼則有油氣業務，發電廠業務也涉足印尼。”
受詢及非核心業務脫售計劃時，他說，公司仍在探討細節，並未有進一步詳情。 |

購英國賭場業務‧雲頂大馬上調買價至17億

（吉隆坡21日訊）雲頂大馬（GENM, 4715, 主板貿服組）上調收購雲頂新加坡英國賭場業務的出價，自3億4千萬英鎊（約16億4千734萬5千473令吉）增1千150萬英鎊（約5千571萬9千零38令吉）至3億5千150萬英鎊（17億零306萬4千511令吉）。
這家公司發文告指出，上修收購價，為反映該英國資產集團的淨債務走低。
英國賭場業務截至6月20日的淨債務為7千440萬英鎊（約3億6千零47萬7千951令吉），自5月31日的8千590萬英鎊（4億1千619萬6千989令吉）走低了1千150萬英鎊。
雲頂大馬早於9月20日獲得英國博彩委員會批准，以展開上述收購
