Working experience and occupation

YB Dato' Haris bin Kasim (YB Dato' Haris) started his career in 1993 as an Administrative Officer before being appointed as Assistant Director in 1996 at the Ministry of Entrepreneurial Department. He was then appointed as the Assistant Secretary in Selangor State Secretary's Privatisation Unit in 1998. In 2001, he was appointed as Assistant District Officer of Petaling District & Land Office. Thereafter, in 2005, he assumed the 'Yang Dipertua' of Kuala Selangor District Council position. Then from 2011 to 2015, YB Dato' Haris was appointed as the District Officer of District Councils of Hulu Langat and Sepang. From 2015 until 2019, YB Dato' Haris was the Director of the Selangor Islamic Religious Department before being appointed as Mayor of Shah Alam City Council for two (2) years, from 2020 to 2021. Presently, YB Dato' Haris is the Selangor State Secretary, and before that, he was the Selangor State Financial Officer.

Unless otherwise stated, words and phrases used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the aforesaid Announcements. Pursuant to Paragraph 9.03 of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Main Market Listing Requirements, the Board of Directors of Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad (“KPS” or “the Company”) wishes to announce that the SSPA has become unconditional on 13 October 2022 following the fulfillment of the conditions precedent stipulated in the SSPA in respect of the Proposed Disposal. The Proposed Disposal is completed on 13 October 2022 in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SSPA. Following the above, SPRINT Holdings, being a 20% associated company of KPS, had on 13 October 2022 received a total sum of RM863.0 million from ALR. Please refer to the attachment (Appendix 1) for further details on the computation of the total sum. Accordingly, SPRINT has ceased to be a subsidiary of SPRINT Holdings. This announcement is dated 13 October 2022.

Query Letter Contents	We refer to the Company’s announcement dated 29 February 2024 in respect of the aforesaid matter. In this connection, kindly furnish Bursa Securities with the following additional information for public release: 1) The expected timeframe to enter into the Tenancy Agreement and the proposed tenure under the Tenancy Agreement. 2) Details of the independent valuation undertaken by Exastrata Solutions Sdn. Bhd. in respect of the tenancy, including the market value and method of valuation. 3) The details of the refurbishment works required to be undertaken on the Property and the basis for the estimated cost of RM50 million. 4) Further justification on the significant discount of the disposal consideration to the market value of RM69 million ascribed by the valuer, other than the refurbishment works cost and the cessation of LHDN tenancy. 5) The details of the mutual separation scheme and the reason for the amount to be included to arrive at the net loss on the Proposed Disposal.
