Description	ACQUISITION OF 51% EQUITY INTEREST IN LEADING WONDER SDN. BHD.
The Board of Directors of the Company wishes to announce that Engtex Group Berhad ("Engtex") had on 2 February 2023 acquired fifty one thousand (51,000) ordinary shares, representing 51% equity interest in Leading Wonder Sdn. Bhd. [Registration No. 200201017260 (584923-X)] ("LWSB") from Beh Hock Seng and Leong Chee Seong, non-related parties, for a total cash consideration of RM62,291.51 only ("the Acquisition"). The purchase consideration was based on the net asset in LWSB as per the management account for the period ended 31 January 2023 and was funded by an internally generated fund. Following the Acquisition, LWSB becomes a 51% owned subsidiary of Engtex. The balance 49% is held by Northern Solar Sdn Bhd, a non-related Company. Please refer to the attachment for further information. This announcement is dated 2 February 2023.
