Event Description
As a non-profit organisation, St Nicholas’ Home is totally dependent on public, private and government funds to operate various programs for the Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) of Malaysia. Due to economic uncertainties, donations have shrunk in size. Therefore, it is for these reasons that we are having this fund raising event to sustain our services to the BVI of Malaysia. Co-organised by G-Club, supported by MPPP, St Nicholas’ Home is excited to inaugurate Ride for Sight where one rides together to promote a healthy living and at the same time raise funds for a worthy cause.
There will be attractive prizes for lucky draw and t-shirts will be given to those who sign up for the ride. However, you must be present on the day to claim the lucky draw prizes. The participation fee for the ride is RM30.00. Registration for the Ride for Sight 2013 will be carried out through online registration.
• Participation is open to those 7 years and above and those below 18 years must get consent from parent(s)/guardian(s).
• The organiser will acknowledge payment received with an Official Receipt. The receipt will be sent to the participant’s email upon registration.
• Everyone must register. All entries will be processed in the order received.
• Registration will only be valid after payment has been received and processed by the organiser. Incomplete entries i.e not accompanied with fees, will not be valid.
• Registration fee is strictly not refundable and non-transferable and all fields in the registration form are compulsory and MUST be filled in.
• Whilst the programme is fixed at the time this registration is being published, the organiser and co-organisers reserves the right to amend the programmes as and when deemed necessary.
• Participants MUST bring along their cycling safety helmet. The organiser reserves the right to stop any rider from participating in the ride.
• All participants and working committee who are involved in this event MUST ensure there is no rubbish thrown along the entire route and the starting/finishing point of the event (Keep Green).
We strongly recommend participants to obtain their own Personal Accident insurance for their own protection. Event Options
Renting of Bicycles
Participants who would like to rent bicycles are required to fill up the form at St Nicholas’ Home Penang. Payment must be made upon booking of bicycles. Due to the limited amount of bicycles available, it will be on a first come first serve basis. The rental of the bicycle is RM15.00 per bicycle.

For Participants Under 18 Years of Age: To register, please visit St Nicholas’ Home Penang to obtain the registration form as parent’s/guardian signature is needed. All registration forms and payments for participants under 18 years of age are to be submitted by the 10th of March 2013. Late registrations will not be entertained.
