Reference is made to the announcements dated 14 September 2020, 12 October 2020 and 13 November 2020 in relation to the memorandum of understanding ("MOU") entered into between Global Nano Innovation Sdn Bhd (“Global Nano”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of GOB and Fawoo Nanotech Co Ltd (“Fawoo”). The Board of Directors of GOB wishes to announce that Global Nano had on 7 December 2020 appointed NanoVerify Sdn Bhd (“NVSB”), a wholly-owned company under NanoMalaysia Berhad (“NanoMalaysia”), as its nanotechnology technology market insight consultant as well as for the certification of Fawoo’s nanobubble generator. NVSB operates Malaysia's first and only nano certification programme for processes and products, known as the NANOVerify Programme, while NanoMalaysia is the agency that has been mandated by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation to monitor and facilitate the development as well as commercialisation of nanotechnology in the country. Further announcement on the development of the above matter shall be made in due course. This announcement is dated 7 December 2020.
