洛桑，瑞士 (2005 年 6 月 3 日) – 世界跆拳道联邦 (WTF) 的主席，Choue Chungwon博士和国际的奥运会的委员会 (IOC) 的北韩成员兼国际的跆拳道联邦 (ITF) 的主席，Chang Ung 先生,今天在国际奥会总部见面是在该如何发展跆拳道的课题交换意见。

国际奥会的主席，Jacques Rogge博士也叁加了会议。自从在 2004 年 8 月的雅典奥林匹克游戏期间已展开了两次谈话之后，这次是 Choue 和 Chang 的第三个会议。

双方在整合 WTF 和 ITF 之间分享了许多看法和意见后，觉得展开整合 WTF 和 ITF 是需要很长的时间来完成的; 虽然如此，他们也强调延续全球的两大跆拳道团体之间的对话是很重要。

在WTF-ITF适当的发展跆拳道的会谈里,Choue 和 Chang 分享了关于技术上和行政上的意见，彼此觉得技术上和行政上的问题是应该彻底地和慎重地被讨论,并且提供两者之间的不同之处和比赛规则。

关于技术上和行政上的问题, 至于二个跆拳道团体整合的其他基本的问题,Choue 建议组成一个来自 WTF 和 ITF 的代表工作委员会。　国际奥会主席 Rogge 为此主意他保证完全支持。

Choue 说他会尽快地召开　WTF　执行委员会会议来关注此议题和做出最后决议,这包括工作委员会的被提议形成。

Integration of WTF, ITF Discussed in Lausanne
Taekwondo Leaders of 2 Koreas Meet with IOC Head


LAUSANNE, Switzerland (June 3, 2005) – Dr. Chungwon Choue, president of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), and Mr. Ung Chang, the North Korean member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and president of the International Taekwondo Federation (ITF), met at the IOC headquarters here today to exchange opinions on how to develop Taekwondo.

Dr. Jacques Rogge, president of the IOC, also attended the meeting. It was the third meeting for Choue and Chang, after two rounds of talks during the Athens Olympics Games in August 2004.

Both parties shared the view that there is a long way to go before full-fledged integration between the WTF and the ITF is possible; nonetheless, they stressed the importance of continued dialogue between the two global taekwondo bodies.

Prior to full-fledged WTF-ITF talks for possible Taekwondo integration, Choue and Chang shared the view that technical and administrative matters should be thoroughly and cautiously discussed over time, given the two taekwondo bodies' differences in poomsae and competition rules.

In regard to technical and administrative matters, as well as other fundamental matters related to the possible integration of the two taekwondo bodies, Choue proposed creating a working committee comprising representatives from the WTF and the ITF. President Rogge pledged his full support for the idea.

Choue said that he would call an Executive Council Meeting of the WTF as early as possible for final decision of the concerned issues, including the proposed formation of the working committee.

Rogge expressed his strong support for the ongoing dialogue for the development of the WTF and the ITF.

第二次 ITF 和 WTF 之间對話在北京

2005 年 8 月 30 日的第二次 ITF 和 WTF 之间的對話是舉辦在中國北京。這是依照 2005 年 6 月 28 日被 ITF 和 WTF 的各代表團在中國北京所签署的協議而進行此會談。

雙方已交换了本身的意见和准备了彼此各方的協議草案为稍后的會談進一步討論和通過議案。

雙方也達成一致的决定，並需要更進一步了解、探討和研究各自的協議草案，展开第三次的會談是必要的。而適當的會議日期還在商議，並會在不久將來以通信傳達會議日期。

這次的會談是由 ITF 代理人秘书长 Ri Yong Son 先生带领的 ITF 代表团和 WTF 代理人秘书长 Choe Man Seek 先生带领的 WTF 代表团出席。



The 2nd Talks between ITF and WTF held on Aug. 30th, in Beijing

The 2nd Talks between ITF and WTF took place in Beijing, China on Aug. 30th 2005 according to the agreement signed by ITF and WTF delegations in Beijing, China on 28th of Jun. 2005.

Both sides exchanged their opinions and each other the draft agreements prepared by each side respectively so as to be adopted at the talks later.

Both sides agreed on further study for the draft agreements and resuming the 3rd Talks on agreeable date of very near future through communications.

The Talks were attended by ITF Delegation headed by Mr. Ri Yong Son, the ITF Deputy Secretary General, and WTF Delegation headed by Mr. Choe Man Seek the WTF Deputy Secretary General.
