Yes, your iPhone or Mac suffers from the same processor security flaw that affects other smartphones and computers.

Apple on Thursday confirmed that Meltdown and Spectre – the Google-discovered attacks that exploit a security flaw that affects almost everything with a processor – can be used against its devices too. Those exploits could potentially be used to reveal sensitive information including passwords and photos.

“All Mac systems and iOS devices are affected, but there are no known exploits impacting customers at this time,” Apple said in a blog post that represented its first public comment on the processor vulnerability.

幾乎所有intel, arm的處理器都有影響...

最新的新聞好像amd也有影響... 所有windows, mac, android, ios, linux都無一倖免...

硬件設計問題(處理器), 無法從根本去fix, 只能通過OS update來fix...

硬件的漏洞可以靠软件来补充 ？ 怎么没看到其他的品牌也有 follow up 的 ？ 怎么就只是 apple 产品 ？

OS層面的修補和軟件修補還是有差別的...

我是看到Apple和Google罷了, 暫時還沒看到其他OEM的跟進...
