The Board of Directors of Mentiga Corporation Bhd (“the Company”) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mentiga Mining Sdn Bhd (“MMSB”) has on 4 October 2016 acquired 30,000 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each, representing 30% of the issued and paid-up share capital in Mentiga Ventures Mineral Sdn Bhd (“MVMSB”), a company in which MMSB holds 30% of its total equity, from a non-related third party, Edubest Mining Sdn Bhd, for a total consideration of RM30,000.00. Upon the completion of the above acquisition of shares, MVMSB shall become a 60% owned subsidiary of MMSB. None of the Directors, major shareholders of the Company and/or persons connected with them has any interest, direct and/or indirect in the above acquisition of shares. This announcement is dated 4 October 2016.
