（吉隆坡23日讯）由于多个利好因素带来正面贡献，远东控股（FAREAST，5029，主板种植股）2014财年首半年净利上扬90.5%，报4190万8000令吉，上财年同期为2199万6000令吉。

远东控股表示，原棕油、棕仁价格按年走高，以及鲜果串产量和榨油率（OER）攀升等，都是推高盈利走高的原因。

至于营业额，则从1亿8473万令吉，按年上扬17.54%，报2亿1713万令吉。

另一方面，截至6月30日次季净利从843万2000令吉，大幅上扬152%，至2123万6000令吉；单季营业额从9153万2000令吉，扬升21.9%，报1亿1160万令吉。【南洋网财经】

远东次季净利跌45%

（吉隆坡18日讯）远东控股（FAREAST，5029，主板种植股）次季净利按年跌44.77%，至1172万9000令吉或每股净利8.3仙，低于去年同期的2123万6000令吉。

同期营业额也按年下滑38.54%，从1亿1159万8000令吉，萎缩至6858万7000令吉。

由于原棕油和棕仁油价格走低，加上鲜果串收成下跌，因而拖累次季业绩。

合计上半年，公司净利按年减少50.29%，报2083万2000令吉，每股净利14.73仙，逊于去年同期的4190万8000令吉。

同期营业额报1亿3962万1000令吉，低于去年同期的2亿1713万4000令吉，按年跌35.7%。

展望未来，原棕油和棕仁油价格失色，远东控股预期今年净利将会走软。【南洋网财经】
