Sam Heath has a very unusual profession
He is a 'Bubbleogist' - a professional soap bubble blower! However, these are not just any ordinary bubbles, but humongous works of art that have earned him three entries into the Guinness Book of World Records. The 37-year old who goes by the name Samsam Bubbleman earned his latest accolade earlier this week, when using a rope attached between two sticks and his secret bubble solution, he created a 20ft by 5ft by 5ft shimmering piece of art at London'sFinsbury Park. By doing so, he shattered a 2005 record set in Minnesota for the World's largest bubble.

A world record for fitting the largest number of people inside a bubble is set at the Science Museum in central London, 23 November 2007. Sam Heath, otherwise known as 'Samsam Bubbleman,' broke the world record by fitting 50 people inside a single bubble.
Samsam Bubbleman 由1989年开始研究玩泡泡到先在已经20年
Sam's love affair with bubbles began in 1989, when a single floating bubble captured his imagination. He has spent the last 20 years trying to perfect his bubble solution. He now has a team of ten 'bubbleologists' who perform shows all over the world, often at the request of celebrities and royalty.
20年里他学会了如何掌握风向及如何制造出巨型泡泡的必密。
The 'Willy Wonka of Bubbles' says that it takes the right wind direction and of course, his secret bubble solution to hold his large creations together. While he will not reveal the special ingredients of his bubble solution, he will sell it and provide tutorials on creating giant bubbles on his website Bubbleinc.com.
MODERN MERMAIDS
A Japanese ama goes overboard in search of shellfish in the 1930s. For centuries these female free divers worked the country's coasts without much clothing, but that changed: "Except for a few older women, the ama of Hekura no longer dive semi-naked," wrote Luis Marden after visiting one group of divers. His July 1971 Geographic story, "Ama, Sea Nymphs of Japan," goes on to say, "The girls wore black leotards. Most others wore all-enveloping suits of black neoprene, the diver's wetsuit." There aren't many ama left in Japan. Most who remain are middle-aged or older; divers sometimes work into their 80s. Today few young women care to take the plunge. ~ Margaret G. Zackowitz
Old-man disguise fools airport security
Young Asian man claims refugee protection after impersonating an elderly Caucasian on B.C.-bound flight
Canadian officials are investigating what they called an "unbelievable case of concealment" after an Asian man in his early 20s successfully boarded a Vancouver-bound flight in Hong Kong disguised as an elderly Caucasian man.
The incident happened on Oct. 29, on Air Canada flight AC018, according to CNN, which obtained a confidential intelligence alert from the Canada Border Services Agency dated Nov. 1.
"The passenger in question was observed at the beginning of the flight to be an elderly Caucasian male who appeared to have young-looking hands," the alert stated. "During the flight the subject attended the washroom and emerged an Asian male that appeared to be in his early 20s."
Border services officers met the man at the gate in Vancouver and escorted him off the aircraft and through the primary inspection line, where he made a claim for refugee protection, the alert said. The man originally claimed to have only one piece of luggage, but the border officers found two more. One bag contained personal clothing, a second contained a pair of gloves and a third contained a "disguise kit" including a silicone-type head and neck mask of an elderly Caucasian male, a brown leather cap, glasses and a thin brown cardigan.
The alert said the man donned the disguise for border officers, even mimicking the movements of an elderly person, and admitted he boarded the flight with the disguise on and removed it several hours later.
The alert said it is believed the man swapped boarding passes with a U.S. citizen passenger who was born in 1955, but it is unclear why he did so.
In addition to the boarding card, the man also provided an Aeroplan card -- issued by Air Canada's frequent flyer program -- as identification when he boarded in Hong Kong. Neither boarding nor Aeroplan cards reflect dates of birth.
Air Canada and CBSA officials confirmed to CNN that the CBSA intercepted a passenger arriving off AC018 on Oct. 29 and that an investigation is continuing.
The man is in CBSA detention awaiting an immigration and refugee board hearing.
The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany is now home to more than just automobiles. The museum has been recognized by the Guinness Book of Records for creating the “strongest artificially generated tornado in the world.” The 34.4 meter high (that is 37.2 yards to those metrically challenged) vortex was not designed as an attraction, but to channel smoke out of the building in the event of a fire. The architecture wonderment that is the museum did not make use of any fire doors in the design (surely they would get in the way of the architect’s vision). In order to meet regulations, the building engineers had to determine a way to keep smoke from spreading beyond the fire level, the tornado is the resulting solution. The twister takes around seven minutes to materialize and is generated by 144 jets and 28 tons of air. The low pressure area at the center of the tornado works to create a jet stream that draws smoke out of the building’s corridors and funnels it upwards and out an exhaust vent on the roof. Check the gallery for photos of a carbon dioxide infused tornado demonstration.”
